One of the attendant was wearing dark glasses inside the store at night- which make me wondering if he was working on the influences. With kindness and respect I asked the manager if I could order "specific" half and half "beans and rice" The manager- say as of course - however I think he forgot to mention to the other kid because my order was not the way I have requested, before I lose my peace ?️ I decided to leave with what I have in hand.
Went and bought 2 10 piece meals. 1 was spicy and the other was mild.These people do not follow directions. Was given 2 boxes of spicy. The only one who I think was good was the heavy set guy that took our order. He was really good. It was very busy as well.
Chicken looks like it's been sitting there a while cuz it's cold on the edges and overall, it's dry. Could it have been reheated? The beans and rice are also dry. The place is always out of napkins. They need to pay attention to the condiment section cuz it's always messy. Floors, too. Messy.
Good southern food. Best chicken tenders around, combos are a good value. Popular spot. One of my go to places.
A dried up cold crusty classic chicken sandwich is what I choked down. I should have asked for my money back.I told a friend how good the Kentucky Fried Chicken sandwiches are and he told me about the competition between Popeye's and KFC's classic chicken sandwiches so I decided I would decide for myself.I went to a Popeye's in San Bruno where a family member lives, waited a few short minutes for my fresh order and it was delicious with delicious macaroni and cheese as well.This San Jose one had my order ready before I was even finished paying and gave me a disgusting sandwich with soggy fake-cheese tastings macaroni and cheese which tasted it completely different.So I guess KFC OR Popeye's wins depending on which LOCATION. I strongly recommend avoiding this place because they give dried up old food it's disgusting. ?
This store was clean and the staff was kind and helpful. Not only was the staff great my food was amazing. That chicken sandwich is bomb.

5 strips where ok, but frys were dry cold ...old what the hell $13.99, drink was ok, busicut was cold dry, busy making alot money for poor quality

Restaurant was filthy! No napkins or condiments. Place was not understaffed either, multiple employees on their phone in between orders.
