Love. This. Place. Fresh fish, friendly staff, generous portions and tasty toppings. I travel in and out of San Jose for work and never pass up an opportunity to eat here.
I ordered poki bowl and paid extra for seaweed salad but there’s no seaweed salad on my bowl! I’m freakin’ mad and disappointed!!!!!
It’s 8.00pm , we’re in line she literally pulls the trays in front of us says they are closed. As I am at the cashier already paying for mine, my two friends behind me can’t get food. Last two times I came here out of salmon, out of yellowtail, out of rice .. i have been a regular at this place and it’s time to find a new pokebowl place. I am open to suggestions ..
Please avoid this establishment. Though its location is convenient, the lack of variety in their seafood and vegetables has proven disappointing. Additionally, they have the audacity to charge for edmame as an afterthought. I will dine elsewhere next time I am in the area. There is not much selection here and the prices are rather high. The place is clean and the employees are friendly. There are few options to choose from, the rice is tasteless, and the service is below average. I recommend going to another restaurant for better quality food.
Not as great of a variety as I would have liked, but the service was wonderful and the food was fresh and tasty, no real complaints here.
I got a regular bowl with what I thought were going to be wonton chips but they were tortilla chips. I was disappointed but gave it a chance but it didn’t go well with the poke at all. Tortilla chips do not belong in poke.The rest of the bowl was ok, nothing special. There are definitely better poke places around..
Poki bowl was fresh and delicious! I got the regular sized bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. The salmon tasted fresh and the spicy tuna had a nice kick to it. It’s nice that the avocado add-on is free too. Good portion size, and I felt very full afterwards. I had the brown rice as the base, so I think I will get half salad and half brown rice next time. I think this is the first time I’ve had poki with raw onions, and personally I didn’t think it paired as well as I had imagined. Next time I will only get cucumber as the vegetable add-on.I saw that some other reviewers mentioned that it didn’t taste fresh, so I’m glad that it wasn’t the case for me during my first visit. I went during lunch time, so maybe the fish tasted better because it was just freshly prepared for the day.
They do not allow their clients to wash their hands before eating food, in the toilet, they blatantly lie that this is allegedly due to COVID-19 at a time when it is fashionable to use the toilet in all neighboring restaurants. supposedly this manager is bad and forbade them!!!
So Happy we Have one at the plant so fresh and good fast and kind service
I read other reviews about this place about how they got sick after eating here, but I’ve been here multiple times and never got sick once. The fish tasted great and their staff was kind and payed attention to my order, making sure it’s correct.
