Nice portion sizes. I don’t like their pre made spicy tunas and salmon as much.Their crab salad is really good.A bit on the expensive side for sure as compared to other good poke places.
Poke House on Almaden is above all the other places the best. The location is all- people - friendlier. The fish chunks are larger and fresher, and their HOUSE SPECIALS are to live for!!! Poke is the Hawaiian word meaning," Cut into chunks, AHI Tuna is traditional in Hawaii. Hawaii was where my mom was born and raised.?
What a treat! A delicious meal! You can pick all the veggies and mango/pineapple you want on top of a layered bed of greens (or rice) with a selection of poke. A huge variety of sauces to mix and match top it off. You make your own delicious meal. There's even delicious infused water! The staff were professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves poke. You won't be disappointed!
I love this place! generous portions and great condiments. love the ability to fresh seaweed and masago with no charge. always nice. and fast. highly recommend if you like additional "stuff" with your poke!
Ordered the small build your own. With spicy miso salmon and crab salad and several toppings. So good!! They really don’t skimp at all. Many places load it up with rice and skimp on the proteins. Not this place! Flavors are great too. Spicy but not too spicy. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.
My family have been coming to this store at least monthly. We enjoy their poke bowls. Today i chewed and almost swallowed a black hair band. They need to train their employees better.
Great food. Parking can be a challenge, but the food is worth it.
First time trying this place. Ordered roasted miso chicken bowl. It tasted ok, roasted chicken tasted as it was not freshly made. A little pricy, $15 for one bowl of roasted chicken with some rice.
It was close to 9 p.m. when I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised that they were still open and serving customers. Even more impressive was the friendly and helpful service. There was a good amount of selection and options to create a customized bowl. They also have several "in house" bowls to choose from. But I liked that I was able to create my own. The server who helped me was patient and answered my questions and I appreciated that. I haven't been a huge fan of them Poke craze before but I am absolutely a fan of this place.
Horrible service. The guy behind the counter was rude. He needs to learn how to talk better to customers. This isn’t my fist time here either but will be my last now. I ordered only rolls to go as I usually do. This time however they were all sticky unwrapping them. Rice was seriously over cooked, mushy almost. Very disappointed. I’m not driving back for that and you couldn’t pay me to eat there again, sorry.
