Called in for a pick up. They said 35 minutes and we gave them 40. We get there and it's not ready.. No big deal order a beer and wait a little longer. 20 - 30 minutes go by and still nothing walk up and ask and they have no idea where, what or if they pizza was ever made and argue about refunding my money all in all wasted an hour and a half of my time and put a terrible taste in my mouth. It's a shame cause I've been coming here for 10 years.. I even used to work at this location when I was 16. This place has really gone down hill and unfortunately I do not think I'll be returning or recommending this place ever again.
I like to visit this place for lunch as my office is close by. Their salads are always fresh and the pizza is yummy too. Nice patio area out front, TV's inside and great beer selection too.Express Meal Deal is my fav. Choice of cheese, combo, pepperoni, Margherita or Monterey Chicken slice. Salad is a good size, comes with tomato, cucumber and croutons. Service is always on point!
Not even kidding - this is my favorite place to eat in ALL OF SAN JOSE. I am absolutely loving the FOOD and the service is INCREDIBLE. Everything here is delicious and they always have great beer on tap!! I would especially like to thank Jake for always being so incredibly friendly and professional and knowledgeable and I would love to thank Demetri for being so incredibly friendly and really making ordering food and drinks FUN! And last but not least I would like to thank Tishyah for the incredible salad and cannoli’s!!! Because of these really incredible people and of course the food.. this is not only a delicious place to eat but a really wonderful place to meet family and/or friends and just hang out and enjoy time together!! Yay! PIZZA California.. do what you can to keep themForever ! Lol! : )) side note: The whole staff right now — really friendly and perfect! The energy here is amazing !! Truly.
Pretty good pizza with vegan cheese option. Good selection of beer. Will come back again for sure!
The Pizza was overall good but the pricing was horrible. $23 for a large pizza with small slices. Plus they didn't start the order until an hour later.
This place is so tasty! I’m very picky of my pizza and usually prefer making it myself instead since I’m often disappointed eating it out. But I can say without a doubt this is the best pizza I’ve bought in a long time! The toppings are quality, creative, plentiful, and evenly dispersed. And the crust is even good enough to eat (I usually don’t eat many crusts!) We got the Athena pizza. I will definitely be back to try more pizzas.
I ordered online through Slice, which was a mistake. It turns out that app conveyed incomplete information to Pizza California, and as a result, I received a cheese pizza instead of what I had ordered (the "Frisco"). By this time, it was already after their closing time of 9:30PM, but I called them up, and they apologized for the mistake and brought me my correct order (they even upsized it for the inconvenience). I felt bad that I made them stay so long after closing, but I wanted to commend them on their excellent customer service! The pizza is delicious, by the way.

Great flavor combos. They are happy to adjust some things on the regular pizza menu such as type or amount of sauce, swap a topping or two, thin or thick crust. Sourdough crust is scrumptious.A small thin crust is good for 1 very hungry person. Thick crust small is good for 2 people, maybe a slice left. Medium thin crust is good for 2 - 3 people depending on appetite. Decent price for what you get but finding a coupon would be nice.
