Came here later in the evening as what seemed they were winding down and starting to clean up, they still welcomed us in and were very friendly. They had good hospitality, one of the bartenders was very nice and willing to do bartenders choice for a random cocktail and made a couple of Zeppelin cocktails. Great unique spirit forward cocktail.This place itself is very spacious and has an extensive amount of different spirits and ranging from rare bottles as well if you in search of a specific bottle to try out they probably have it.Worth a try and will be back another time. ?
Amazing place, perfect to have a good time in SJ downtown. The managers at this place are a bit rude. But the staff otherwise are pretty friendly. The bartender was awesome and was making drinks on a busy saturday night like a boss!They have interesting drinks and I loved everything I tried!
An extremely diverse cast of cocktails which will leave you in disbelief that you've gone so long without even knowing the ingredients existed.More setting and lower ceilings would turn it into a speakeasy while a dance floor would make it a club. Paper Plane strikes a very delicate balance between the two and is the perfect spot to start or end your night at.
I was here for work, and this place caught my eye since it was close to my hotel. Ambiance and vibe are great. Food and drinks were delicious. Would love to go back.
Perfect place for a drink ?
Feel the Christmas vibe here! So so festive. The whole space is sparkling with all the lights on the ceiling, bar and everywhere. Drinks are super delicious.
Miracle on 1st street, back at Paper Plane! Went on a tasting spree of all the special holiday drinks, and my absolute favorite is the Chrismapolitan, followed closely by Elfing Around. They’re both refreshing, and festive!
Great drinks, a great atmosphere, lots of holidays celebrations. Might require standing outside for a bit since it gets busy. Tables are limited so you might need to stand for a bit before finding a table. Definitely worth a visit, especially during the holidays.
Paper plane feels and looks like if the north pole had a bar this was it. Amazing decor and drinks. After waiting in line for 20 min to get in then you had to wait another 40 min to stand in line for a drink?Then good luck finding a table to enjoy your cocktail ?. Well luck was on our side we found a group that was leaving and we sat down and took it all in. I seen food runners trying to find the customers who ordered the food. I asked the manager how you order the food he said you order at the bar. Are you kidding me after waiting 40 min to get a drink ? Would have been nice to know this ahead of time right? Anyway the old fashion i had was amazing with a big snowball in it perfect balance of orange and bitters. Wife had holiday cosmopolitan it was on point. Besides all the waiting we had one drink each then we didn't want to wait in line again. Merry Christmas ?
AMAZING PLACE! If you want to party and not worry about COVID, this is your place. All people you meet inside are fully vaccinated. Right now it is decked to the gills in fun Christmas decoration. The staff and owners are fabulous and are striving for max fun and max safety. HO HO HO ??
