Recommend you make reservations, even on a Monday night. We made some and requested to sit outdoors, but the person we spoke with did not make note of the request and they were unable to accomodate us once we got there. Inside was a bit loud since it is a small space and there were several birthdays being celebrated. I ordered the fish special and it was very tasty. The fried calamari is also pretty good.

Loved the pasta here and will definitely come back again!I’ve been to this restaurant twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. I would definitely recommend to make a reservation for dinner time. The parking nearby is limited but not impossible to find. For the food, we ordered a few pasta dishes:1) Pappardelle Alexandra (10/10). This is the broad ribbon pasta with crab meat. This dish is unique, full of flavors from the crab, you can taste the chewy noodles that are hand-made. Everything about this dish was wonderful and we ate every last bite of it!2) Penne Santa Rosalia (9/10). This is the eggplant penne dish. The sauce had a strong tomato + ricotta cheese taste. Typically the ricotta cheese creates a heavy taste, but the tomato sauce balances it out perfectly. The eggplant was crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. We really enjoyed this dish too!3) Gnocchi Alla Genovese (5/10). This dish was not quite what we expected for gnocchi. The dumplings were not chewy and had an extremely soft texture due to the fact that they were made from potatoes. We ended up returning the dish and chose something else. The waiter was very nice and helped us return this dish.4) Lasagna Rustica (7/10). On the first bite, this dish was full of great flavors; the sausage and fennel seeds (I think) really stands out. However after eating half of it, the taste got a bit boring.

After months since my first visit, I come back for the review. We were really enjoy visit Paesano and impressed by their service. My server was very patient and considerate, even in the busy time. The food was good and the kitchen splits the main course evenly for us. It is not common to see a restaurant like Paesano provide a comfortable dining environment with good food and very good service with $$ price. Absolutely worth visiting again.

Amazing food! I ordered the flat noodles with crab and creamy tomato vodka sauce, the pasta was flavourful, perfectly cooked and on point. My partner ordered the beef ravioli and it was amazing too, pretty strong flavors but strong in all the right spots.

I really enjoyed visiting here! The service was good, and even though it was in a small house, it didn’t feel crowded. As far as I can tell, everything was made in house even down to the mozzarella sticks. They are definitely not those reheated microwave kinds, they’re bigger and really good. I will say it’s a little pricey, but if you know that it’s going to be amazing and very high quality, then it isn’t a problem. Lasagna came right out of the oven piping hot, and the Spaghetti Porticello was so good! The Black Forest cake was the best I’ve ever had. Wish it had a few more cherries, but still the best.

best restaurant in the town great service different variety of dishes really love this place

Parking is extremely difficult to find. The restaurant is very small so expect to sit very close to other people so don't expect a good date night.Food is not good at all. Ravioli was very thick and the tomato sauce tasted like canned tomato with literally 2 pieces of veggies. Pesto gnocchi was soft but very creamy and bland. Maybe I don't know what gnocchi is but I didn't like it here. I would never come again as food is just not unnecessarily expensive but not good even if it's free.

I am really pleased with this place . I tired this place for the first time with a group of 7 and a baby and was very delighted with the service. Though the location is not too big in size . I enjoyed the family style and feel I got . They have a bar as well and I enjoyed the pomegranate margarita. I had 3 of them . Very tasty and well in potency .seating inside and a few outside with covering so your not too cold . Parking can be a little bit of challenge of you are not familiar with the area . Although they have plenty of parking being that it is in the city . Nice little park behind if you want to take a stroll before or after your date . Great date option for sure if you want to impress . I parked at star parking . I’ll leave the photo for reference .

This restaurant sits on a corner that has gone through several owners, but the owners of Paesano seem to be here for the long haul. We went by on a Friday night, and knowing it's a small place, made sure to make reservations. It was also a night when the San Jose Sharks were playing, and it is walking distance to the San Jose Arena. It's called "Little Italy". The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious--not only for us, but for others sitting nearby. You could hear the "ahhs" all around us! Good pasta and seafood dishes. I have also heard good things about their meat dishes, and look forward to trying one the next time we go.

Service was pleasant, on time. Food was tasty. Healthy choices in the menu. I ordered a spinach salad and minestrone soup.
