Don’t waste your money!Opa is among the worst restaurants in the San Jose. We went there once and the food was very bad. I got the Greek Flatbread, which tasted everything but a flatbread. The bread was so hard. My husband ordered lamb shanks. The shanks cost $30 and it is only 3 small burnt shanks with small carrots. We would never go there again.
Great food and atmosphere. Gotta order the fried cheese.
Don’t waste your money!
The service was the best.
absolutely disgusting food!
Don't choose the heirloom tomatoes or you will break your teeth on. The rest was okay but I had better Greek food next door.
The flat bread is tasty, but also greasy. It is pricey at $18 for the lunch menu. Lunch service is speedy. Minor observation, the staff struggles to find the right balance between being friendly and being efficient. The restaurant on the corner of Almaden Ave and Santa Clara St.
We went to Opa for dinner. Their beet salad was very good and very large. We also had hummus Our main entrees were OK but not great. My husband had steak; I had lamb. They came with vegetables. For dessert we shared a bakava which was nicely presented and good. Service was fine.
A very good meal and great service. I would have expected them to be busier given how good the food was. Five stars for food and service. Loss of a star for bathrooms that needed some attention.
I really like this place for business lunches. The menu is varied so anyone can find something to enjoy. The service is speedy. I usually call ahead though for small parties I don't think it's necessary. The only downside is you don't seem to be able to reserve online through OpenTable or wherever.
