Please have better estimate of wait times. You wasted 2.5hrs of my family's time today.The lady at the front desk was toying with the customers by spelling out random wait times. She told me it will take 1:30 minutes. So we checked in to another restaurant and in 5 minutes I get the following message.Olive Garden - San Jose: Your table is ready! Please see our hosts. Enjoy your meal.
Our waiter, Daniel, was top notch! He made us feel welcome and appreciated. The recommendations he made were greatly appreciated and made our dining experience very satisfying to our taste buds as well. The eggplant parmesan was delicious and the portion size was quite large. The other dishes that were enjoyed by my companions received rave reviews - shrimp scampi, salmon, and their Tour of Italy combo plate!
Love olives garden ambience, salads, soups and their tiramisu! This branch in particular has great service dining in and pickup! Their family style options and good priced and can be a day saver for busy parents! However, dining in in that branch, plates tables and chairs were totally unclean. Hope they can fix that issue to get 5 rating!
Went with a party of eight, we got seated rather quickly and excellent service. The waiter kindly gave each couple a separate check. The food was delicious and plentiful. We all enjoyed our time there.

There was 10 of us and they were able to accommodate us in a very secluded area and we were able to hear each other speak. Great fun, singing servers.
Got food poisoning from here. Had the food for a date night. Next morning I woke up incredibly sick. My husband tried some of my leftovers. He woke up sick the next day. Extremely nauseous, stomach pain, headache, etc. Be careful.Edit: Olive Garden did end up reaching out to me and refunding my purchase along with sending a gift card. I appreciate them taking responsibility for what happened to compensating me.
Blown off by the staff for 40 minutes after we sat down. Got half of our food with more then an additional 30 minutes without the second half of our food I asked for a manager and the woman who came over was rude said "you guys looking for a manager or someone" and gave excuses that they are busy yet the tables around us are getting there stuff no problems. Rude poorly staffed poorly managed. Not worth the time or money. Never returning to this location.
We haven't been to Olive Garden in years because the last time we were there, the service was so horrendous, we decided never to return. Our friends convinced us to try again, so the 4 of us had dinner the other night. What a difference! Our server, Danny, was fantastic! The restaurant was pretty busy, but he kept up with everything, including the bottomless soups and salad. He was professional, friendly and quick. It was a very good experience, thanks to Danny!
Very unhappy with the staff phone service I received today.Got a BIG SIGH from the first wait person I spoke with and the second person was just as short.I'm new at ordering online and needed home delivery. According to the website they do the following: Dine in - Curbside pickup - No Contact Delivery. When I asked about the No Contact delivery her response was the same as that of the Curside pickup. I tried to explain to her what the website had posted and she said to me sarcastically "What in my mind do I think it says". So so rude. Won't ever go back to this place again.
