Really great udon. The number five was wonderfully flavorful. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for noodles or Vietnamese food in the bay area.

One of my favorite place in san Jose for soup. #1 is a must with the chinese donuts if you like spicy. I'm so glad they have dine-in available again. Took out the family last night. They accommodate us 9. Fast service but cash only here. After you're done, go next door for boba at tea leaves ?
We had dinner at this restaurant last night for our wedding anniversary celebration. The place was very passionate and rustic. Having dinner under the trees, lights above you, it was so romantic! Their menus were delicious, and their cost was reasonable, too. We were having the best night, and we definitely back and dine again with the kids. For sure, they will love the place!
In A Nutshell:-I've been eating the famous soup at Banh Canh 3 Mien for years & am very happy they are still around during the pandemic.-You can still order take-out.-The #5 dac biet banh canh is their signature dish/soup.-It's Vietnamese udon noodles w/ pork feet, shrimp & crab in a orange flavorful seafood broth.-This is a such a good soup, perfect for a cold day.Overall, I suggest coming to try the banh canh, it's one of the lesser known Vietnamese soups, but a hidden gem.
