Food 4/5Service -1/5We closed the place down because the service was so poor. Took us 3 hours to get out of this place. I don’t think they meant to provide such poor service, I just don’t think that they are a typical restaurant staff. Very nice people, but I think if I were to revisit I would order to go. They couldn’t figure out what we each ordered so we had to split the bill evenly. Food was decent. That was my first time eating Ethiopian. I wish this business well, but please improve your service.
The food is so delicious! Flavorful and comforting. Fresh and just the right amount of heat. Ambiance here is nice, chill vibe yet fine service. They have delicious vegan opti oi ns as well so all can have a great eating experience. The staff is great and checks regularly, professional and inviting. Upbeat smooth music with a comforting buzz of good conversation yet not at all too loud or distracting. I will be back!
My first time eating Ethiopian food. It was very good. The veggies on the platter were far too less for the amount of pancake that they give which by itself tastes very good. Fermented. Also the meat platter is heavy on meat. Had no veggies. The service could be better. Got water only once. The person was very friendly though.
Well what can I say…. Definitely an interesting experience. I am a big fan of Indian food so I’ve been told several times that Ethiopian has some similar flavors and are very rich in spices as well. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bread to eat and scoop the food with was cold. I was told that this is the traditional way of eating but I was not a fan of eating hot food with cold bread. The staff was friendly and very informative when I was making my selections. The reason this place is getting a 3 stars is because it was a bit dirty. They definitely should do some kind of spring cleaning there. It only made me imagine how the kitchen is and what type of hygiene is enforced in the kitchen. I definitely don’t mind eating in a modest low key restaurant. But hygiene is everything!!!
Absolutely loved the Ethiopian cuisine. Has a striking similarity to South Indian cuisine. We each had a Sambussa ( more like a Samosa but with lentil filling ) and 2 Vegetarian combos for the 3 of us, and it was more than filling. The Ingeras are an healthier option since it’s made of Teff. The sides that were offered with the combo were pretty good.Customer service is excellent.Scan the QR code attached for the menu options.Definitely recommended ✅
It was my first time with Ethiopian food and I was not disappointed. It was very savory and the meat combo is a must try the meat was very flavorful and cooked very well. The salad was buttery and very well made.
Several menu items that can be made dairy free for lactose intolerant people: Derek Lamb Tibs, Lamb Tibs, Begalicha Wot, Lamb Tip Fir Fir, and the beef options that don’t say kitfo in them (main ingredient of kitfo is butter). SeveralVegetarian / Vegan options that can be made or are already made with dairy, too.I had the Beg Alicha Wot: lamb stew with turmeric, injera, ginger and onions. It was delicious. The lamb was delicious. I loved the tangy flavor of the ginger combined with the meat, oil, and soft bread.I had the Lamb Tibs: lamb with cayenne and injera. It was good. Spicy at the right level for me and had multiple spices and sauce so it was flavorful. I maybe prefer the Begalicha Wot but both are good.
Food was delicious! They’ve got an amazing variety for vegetarians. Ambiance is pretty decent and even though they had just one person taking orders/ serving when I went, she was delightful! Hidden gem
Amazing. Food is always great. I've become friends with the owner, very friendly great guy. Also shared alot of Ethiopia ?? which was awesome. Also make sure to try the honey wine there are two different kinds. Both are good
