Excellent service (Tim) great food and drinks, plus a bonus dessert for my wife's birthday. Highly recommended. No parking though, so find a lot close.

Good is good and worth the price. Love their string beans and crab fried rice. We always take the molten lava cake for desserts.. yummm. The service is one of the bests I have experienced in Bay Area. Absolutely friendly and respectful. Love it here.

The waiter claimed to know the best entrées and advised us to pick the seabass and pork chop. The tuna tartar we chose for an appetizer was delicious. The seabass was somehow undercooked and overcooked, a burnt falling apart mess. The pork chop looked and tasted like it was from a breakfast dinner with tasteless steamed carrots. I woulda said something but my waiter seemed so high I didn't wanna him to freak out when I told him we didn't like and won't be coming back. He couldn't stop talk about how great he was and how great the food was I didn't wana break his coked out heart, it was trash and we won't come back.

The food is like the overcharged version of Chinese food from those Chinese take-out places. The highly recommended sea bass was both a ripoff and a disappointment; it came out cold and undercooked and the center was raw. The server apologized and promised that the sea bass will be good next time and did nothing else. I don't need just an apology and another empty promise. They need to DO something about it. The chow fun has almost no ingredients but the chow fun itself.

What a wonderful happy hour, love the energy in the restaurant. Fabulous service with extra friendly and fun servers, the food and drinks were delicious. The setting is really inviting and nice, a place that calls for comebacks!

The buffalo wings were awesome. The calamari tasted like It was fried in old oil. The soup was pretty good. The blacken ahi tuna was over seared. The main dishes were just decent. The cocktails were average. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to get our appetizers. An hour and 10 to get our main dishes. When I asked our server if they were understaffed, he said no. He said that this was a slow night. We won’t be going back. Many other better places to drop $180 for 2 people.

Wandering around SJC looking for an uncrowded restaurant we fell into this place not knowing what we were in for. Well, we really got a pleasant experience. The waiter was entertaining plus knowledgeable. The food was well prepared with a great presentation. I got the seared ahi. The vegetables outshone the fish, Seaweed marinated giving a flavor I experienced in Japan, Wife had chicken well flavored, We're going back.

I enjoy myself here ever time. Food is good an the atmosphere is pleasing. Infused spinach & garlic mash potatoes were delicious.

Tim, the waiter per reviews prior to my experience is so charming and exemplary. We had a party of 5. Ordered 4 appetizers: ahi tuna tarte, crispy calamari, truffle fries, cucumber seaweed salad. 3 out of 4 was good. Unfortunately, the ahi tuna tarte is a bit lackluster in my opinion. It was under seasoned, lack flavors, maybe a ponzu, citrus liquid or sriracha to give it a kick? We liked the wonton chip that came with it.For entrees: smoked seabass is really good like all the rave reviews out there. A little too salty in some spot which can be easily improved by the kitchen staff. Truly highlighted dish of the evening. Crab stuffed salmon is moist and still good alternative if you don't like seabass. Crab fried rice and garlic noodles is decent but noodle was a bit too oily and felt like not garlicky enough. Also ordered the miso Chinese broccoli. Except for the cucumber seaweed salad, I thought all the vegtable for the evening was a little overcooked and a little mushy. Chinese broccoli is consumed al dente and must be crisp and hear the crunch when you consume it. Didn't get that from the solo miso Chinese broccoli dish either. Overall a good spot for Asian based food for a little nicer ambiance than the authentic casual asian restaurants. We would definitely return for the sea bass entree.

Seems like a pretty good place, however, on the day we went there were no noodle or rice dishes... at an Asian fusion restaurant... The food that we could get came quickly and was pretty good. Overall, worth another try, will update if I do.
