Good pizza at moderate prices is increasingly difficult to find in the high tech hub that is North San Jose. Mod pizza fits the bill for those looking for a step above chain pizza joints like Round Table.Blaze pizza has a greater selection of ingredients than Mod pizza but Mod pizza's crust seems to taste better.Everyone's idea of good pizza is different but I think Mod pizza is a good choice. We spent $50 for 3 pizzas and drinks. That's a pretty good deal these days
Poorly prepared pizza and less-than-pleasant service at counter. The pizza tasted old, the crust was not good, and it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something far too long. The salad was very good and the highlight of the meal, but they did not include two of the three dressings I asked for. I won't be back to this location ever again.
The food is good, but some of the employees are very rude. The only person who spoke well was a tall white guy.The place is clean, the wait time was little to none at around 2pm
I wish there should be star for bad service in which this store will consistently get 5 stars. This is my first time ordering from this place. I placed an online order and went there to pickup. There were people already waiting in online pickup line to get their pizza. They should not have to wait there because that line is for the people whose order is ready for pickup. I realized they are waiting in pickup line and told them that my order has well past the pickup time and requested them I need to check with the person there. The delivery person didn't attend me even though I went forward near the counter. I was puzzled is it a store or some scrap handling place. While I was waiting, he called the other person and delivered the pizza. After that I went forward to get his attention but he didn't look at me at all. What! is this a store!!! To keep the distance from other person who is standing very close I move to the corner of the counter where there was entrance to inside and then CALLED HIM multiple times. He came and yelled at me and asked me to come near him just one step backward. I asked why I should not stand there. He said that's an entrance. Fine, I went there to keep social distance. He should have behaved properly even if I'm not standing at the right place. I guess management should have taught them work ethics and customer handling training. I should have left the pizza there for their bad service but I didn't want to behave like him. So, I picked up the pizza. You can get the pizza for cheap prize but you will not get the respect as a customer. I will not go to this place again even they offer free pizza. This happened on 1/30/22 at 7:45pm. I don't know the person name who was at the online pickup counter but he would know when he reads this feedback.
Absolutely love this place, from the vibe, speed of service, ease of ordering, virtually unlimited possibilities and combinations you can create, reasonable pricing.....it's all good.Whether I'm in the mood to be creative, try something new, living on the edge testing the fusion of pineapple on pizza with Bleu Cheese, throwing tons of toppings on or just in a hurry for a satisfying Pizza, Mod Pizza is the place for fast, tasty, wholesome food at a fair price. Every visit offers a new and exciting take on what to throw on a pizza, love love love going here, it's like a new find every visit.
Affordable and filling. Employees are always kind and don't seem to mind if you ask for extra ore more stuff. Definitely recommend.
Good experience. He made our pizza with extra work and we loved our visit. Friendly staff and clean store. ? very delicious and crispy pizza ? thank you.
I ordered for curbside because I had my dog with me. The pizza was cold when I got it. I was a couple minutes past the pickup time, but the pizza was more than 3 minutes cold.It took about a minute for them to pickup the phone, then the person who answers and brought me the pizza seemed very annoyed.I've gotten better pizza and service from Little Caesar's.
Love MOD pizza, but I have concerns. I am very surprised that the empolyees touch the pizza with their bear hands. One would think that because of the pandemic, MOD would have higher standards when it came to food safety. The employee in the oven handled over 10 pizzas with her bear hands and adjusted her glasses and masks a hand full of times. Gloves would be nice to use. Overall, the employees are nice and the pizza is delicious. Management, please make some food handling changes. Thank you.
It's like subway but with pizza and way tastier
