Tasty Korean spot in a strip mall serving legit meals. Tried the doshirak / lunch box with spicy chicken. They have two versions and I got the larger one, “B”.Chicken was excellent, hot, flavorful and perfectly spicy. The rest of the box are standard sides and were also delicious.Best thing about the lunch box is that everything is in one container. That makes takeout meals a breeze.
Great Korean place right by the Tasman light rail station. Love the side dishes (banchan) here as well as the Gal Bi and Ji Gae soup. Very generous portions on the stone bowls. They also have several Korean and Japanese beers. Overall great food and great value for a hearty Korean feast.
Very polite greeting at the door and quick order. It helped that I came in during Chinese New Year and had the place to myself. The hot tea cleaned my pallet before the Korean Short Rib order. The plate came out sizzling and I was cut up in manageable pieces. The food was so delicious that I cleaned my plate! Keep this place in mind if you crave Korean food.
10/10 Amazing quality food. Service was very fast despite there being a line almost out the door. Got the spare rib lunch meals and they were delicious ??
Good food , great service and cheap price
They need better service I have been a customer since 2017, but the last takeout got me very angry. Most of the short ribs are burnt, so I called but was offered with no option, and they said even if we make a new one for you, it will be the same since the cook has worked there for 7 years. And I didn't accept it saying you should not serve this to customer and this is not what I had last time. Then I got HUNG UP with something like "sorry can't help you", so I drove back , and the person on the call agreed to make new ones after seeing it physically, without any apology. The other older lady was more friendly and apologized before I left.
I shared the combo meal and it was delicious. It was pricey but there was a lot of food. Both the beef and chicken were good. The staff was nice as well. Good for takeout
