I really like this place, great food and atmosphere, wonderful staff and yet I gave 2* to this place. They are all about sustainability and responsible eating (local sourcing, etc.). Yet they are pretty heavy on their use of plastic - cutlery, water cups, to-go boxes, etc. For a place that advocates environmentally conscious dining and built a brand around it, this doesn't really reflect in their widespread use of plastic. More so when bio-degradable options are easily available. I hope they do better.PS: Quinoa salad and Thai mango salad are pretty good
Wow, food was incredibly fresh and didn't take long. You order at the counter and they deliver it to you. Tables inside and out, pleasant upbeat music and service was on top of it. They cleaned every table quickly and the gentleman at the counter made a great recommendation. I got the ancient grains chicken bowl and a glass of Chardonnay.
Really excellent gourmet sandwiches, but their prices are also gourmet to match their food. But I understand that they're in Santana Row near live music and high-end shops, so the lease cost must be pretty high, plus the employees are in short supply, so they have to offer higher wages than the already fairly high minimum wage of $15.45, plus inflation has caused a sharp increase in food and paper products costs, as well as cleaning supplies, plus the war in Ukraine has caused gas prices to surge, which has further increased their costs for food, etc., plus the drought has caused water prices to increase, so yeah there's a lot to consider, but their prices are still higher than a sandwich shop in a different location, like down the street where there's a Togo's. Plus there's Ike's next door, though I'm not sure if it is still there.
Very happy with what we ordered, mango salad and Peruvian sandwich. The salad very refreshing, myriad of multi flavors. The Peruvian sandwich bit spicy and flavorful.
I always come here for a great and healthy meal. They have amazing salads! All the food is delicious!

I can’t say enough about the great customer service we received. We have never been to Mendocino Farms before. The lady behind the counter came out and stood with us at the menu board and helped us make a great decision. She answered all our questions. Aside from the great service, the food is delicious!
My third time here…I am fan of avocado & quinoa salad … I can eat the whole bowl of it!!! Also I ordered curry couscous every time !
Close to Winchester Mystery House and open when we were all starving, this place was perfect for my entire family. The portions are huge...none of us finished our lunch. Considering this is in an upscale shopping district, the prices are reasonable. The best part? All the employees seemed really into customer service.In a market where its hard to find employees, this place must be doing something right.
