Great food, nice staff, best chicken sizzle soup

VERY Americanized watered down Chinese food. The owner and staff are Chinese so it was surprising the food was so bland, even the egg roll was bland. The service is extremely fast and the decor was nice.

Very tasty and plenty of vegetarian options. Loved the ma po tofu. One of the best Chinese restaurants I've had in the bay area. Excellent, fast service and great ambiance. Highly recommend this place

"Timmy" the manager is a liar. She said that i complain everytime but ive been ordering here for 3 years and this is the first time i ever said anything negative. She then said"you always ask for this and that" i only call to confirm that they are following the notes on doordash because last order i had they didn't follow the notes when it said to add chili paste. How is asking to confirm order details bad?The main issue today was the wor won ton soup had excess flour on the shrimp and chicken we could litteraly taste the flour only overpowering the meat.It was great doing business with you guys good luck in this pandemic

I selected the Special A on the menu: it came with choice of soup, appetizers, and an entree. The appetizer was an egg roll, one fried shrimp, and soup was the Wonton soup. It was fulfilling but nothing spectacular. The shrimp had a pasty taste I didn't care for but the egg roll stole the show. It was crispy and delicious. For my entree: I had the Mandarian Chow Mein with a side of fried rice. It was good. Some of my noodles were burnt but it didn't take away from the flavor of it. They giving you large quantities of food. I ate 1/4 and had to get the rest to go. It was a decent meal for $30 bucks. I'll go again to try something different

Love this restaurant sometimes they have there off days.. today was one of those days…. Opened at 11 but when we arrived cleaners where still mopping floors . The cleaning lady greeted us with a smile. The manager looked upset when she seen us and quickly turned around and told the lady not to leave the door open next time because people can walk in..she waved her hand at the lady and said just hurry up! She turned then turned to us and said give me a min they are still cleaning. So we waited 5 min and then she sat us. Wonton strips where cold and not crunchy like they usually are. Salad was ok (I’m usually obsessed with the salad I can eat mine plus my daughters ) my food was good I ordered the Mongolian beef w/fried riceMy grandma ordered a shrimp dish …… shrimp still had poop in its tail. We told the waiter and he just looked at it and mumbled something very low took the plate and walked away….very odd. A apology would of been nice. I think it’s safe to say Grandma isn’t going to want to eat here again.

Our new favorite Chinese restaurant. We've mostly done take out from here since the pandemic, but their takeout packaging is excellent. The one time we dined in, service was good, and the food was even better.

Cockroach in drink cup! I cannot complain about the food. It was great. Higene on the other hand would be my main concern. My cousins came to visit and we wanted to eat at a Chinese restaurant, friends had recommended Mandarin Gourmet a few times.... First time in, everything went smooth. Fast service, we had our meal, once we are chatting and finishing our drinks my wife sees something in her glass of coke (it's a roach) common house roach. I pull it out of the cup and show it to the waiter... He immediately runs to the back, then comes out and starts saying that it's not true, that the roach "came from the soda machine that was cleaned yesterday a week ago because it was stuck inside"? HIS EXACT WORDS. I told him that it was impossible that the dispenser could of been cleaned if there was a roach stuck inside. I service restaurants for a living so I know. When he grabbed his glasses to look at the roach he still insisted on stating that it was not a roach and it was a leaf. After he admitted it was a roach he just walked away. No interest in how we felt or the situation. We proceeded to talk to the hostess and manager (front desk). And we just asked for our tip back since we did not like our waiters service. I do believe that the manager should of at least engaged a bit more in a conversation to figure out the situation.

The reatautante left me a bad impression I went with my wife to dinner, we ordered a wonton soup, fried rice and Mongolian beef, the soup was brought to me almost cold, I asked to be heated but it seems that they did nothing and they attracted me again, this time Warm, the Mongolian fried rice had shrimp and chicken that looked like cork, it seemed overheated since it looked ugly, the Mongolian beef was salty, they did not serve us and had not finished eating and the waiter put the bill on the table, I thought it was more inattentive, I will not return to this restaurant due to the bad attention and the low quality of the dishes.

Missing order when I picked it up, called them to let them know that one order was missing and they told to contact doordash, I wanted them to not charge me on that missing order I order it online thru doordash pickup. All order was so clear how could they miss the order.
