I had lunch at the Left Bank a few months ago and it was outstanding. On Monday night I took my daughter and grandsons to your restaurant and was disappointed in the food. What happened?

Usually a reliable place to go but this outing was disappointing. Table was set up very quickly for us but took several reminders to have them seat us. The food was good but cocktails were a disaster. Either a bad bartender on duty or they are using spoiled alcohol. Service was hard to get and actually cost them since we would have ordered more drinks and desserts. There was also a 5% service charge on the bill described as mandatory but wasn't mentioned and the suggested tips were still 18%, 20% and 25%. NOTE either make it a 20% service charge or don't bother. Since we've had more good than bad experiences we will try again but hopeful they are paying attention. thanks!
Sat outside which was very nice. Food (mousels and steak frites) were good. Service less than desired - that had more host/hostesses than servers.
Food was great, service prompt, and atmosphere relaxing. We will be back!
