I really want to like the place, but I just can't. The baked goods all seem to be the same basic thing just baked into different shapes, an anise-flavored cookie. While I like that the cookie is not that sweet, when we bought them they were all stale, every one.We also got pork tamales, and they were pretty bland. This might be just my preference for northern Mexican-style tamales, but I thought they needed a lot of seasoning and at least some oregano, something to give the pork and the masa some flavor.
Not what I expected...they need to add more things on their menu just like if I was to go to the east side
Went with my family to have dinner, only 1 other person was eatting there, the 2 ladys that worked there saw us come in, acknowledged we were there and 10min later someone else walked in and they took his order..we walked out, we weren't offered drinks or told they were busy

What a pleasant surprise this place was...a whole new take on tacos & various dishes...and the pineapple empanadas (turnovers) were delicious! I really liked their freshly cooked food to order & will return.???
Our family loves this place. Not only is their food fresh and delicious with the authentic Guatemalan flavor but we love the candid atmosphere and the pricing is super budget-friendly!

Owners parked in the disabled parking spot in front of the store. How do I know that these people are the owners? They made a point to tell me. One of the workers came out of the restaurant and told me to “mind my own business” in a rather confrontational manner. It was a completely empty parking lot, so if they just apologized and moved their car one parking spot over I would not be writing this review.
