We always go here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. It was a nice dining atmosphere, not too noisy. The food was wonderful and we were waited on very well.
Very nice restaurant, but a little off the grid. Hard to get an Uber and no phone signal. If you're going to take a ride share you better have a car pre-booked. Tasting menu was great, but portion sizes were a little too large. Wine pairing was fantastic.
It was our first time there. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and our server Allen was the best. He was very knowledgeable of the foods, the wines and the pairings of both. He threw in some humor and conversation. I would highly recommend him. The food was very, very good and everybodyâs meats were very tender. I hope everyone elseâs dining experience here can be as good as ours.
We were celebrating a special birthday. We ordered Tasting Menu # 3 and Wine Pairing #3. Tsar Nicolai caviar, Beef Tartare, Ahi Tuna, Lobster Tail, Wild Boar, American Wagyu. The food was terrific and the wines were spot on. It's difficult to choose a favorite item, but I think I'd go with the Ahi. Sublime! The only item I would delete from the menu would be the wild boar. It was tasty, but it preceded the wagyu beef, and it was so much food--we brought the wagyu home! Lovely Grand Marnier souffle. Very attentive staff. Some of the waits between courses was a bit long. Reservation was at 6:30p and we'd didn't finish until around 10p. Will schedule an earlier seating next time. Le Foret never disappoints.
We have been going to La Foret for the past 60 years , back when it was known as Cafe Del Rio. The food has always been exceptional. We were celebrating our anniversary and Megan our waitress made the evening special for us. We shared the escargot and the cream of mushroom soup. My wife had the veal tenderloin and I had the rib eye steak. Both were prepared to perfection. We finished the meal with a Grand Marnier Desert each This is the place where we go for our anniversary each year. La Foret has always made us feel special Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Couldn't be more pleased with our visit to La Forét. It was in celebration of a Special Woman in My Life, She said it was her Best Bday in our 14 yrs together...So Big Thanks to Gia, Tanya, Lizette, Lisa, Oscar and the supporting cast for makin it happen, Cheers!
The food was excellent, but we ordered too much. One of the cheapest dishes â Tortellini was one of the best. What was unexpected and disappointing was getting charged $16.00 for a âbirthday plateâ that I did not order and was presented as a gift! The ambience is beautiful and romantic.

The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. It was the perfect place to enjoy our anniversary dinner.
