I ordered several times in this store, overall is good. While the most recent visit is NOT so pleasant.1) I placed a mobile order by app, and waited in store for around "10 minutes" past the expected ready time. During this time, NO staff reached out to me at all, even if I tried to contact them several times.2) It seems like all staffs ONLY care about drive through, even though the current order at drive through is definitely later than my order (because till now I've been waiting for 10 minutes)3) So I decided to pick up via drive through, and being told that I need to pick-up in store...4) I'm in a hurry (and don't want to wait another 10+ minutes), so I asked the staff to prepare my order right here. Surprisingly (or maybe not?), my order is NOT prepared at all (now is 15 minutes past the expected ready time). So I waited another 2 minutes in car, and FINALLY got my order.Just a wild guess, maybe drive-through customers matter MORE compared to mobile-app customers, because the latter already paid anyway, and making the latter wait another 15-20 minutes doesn't hurt the revenue, while keeping the drive through line too long will potentially reduce new orders and hurt revenue.Additionally, apart from my unpleasant experience, I’m not sure why I cannot pickup mobile orders via drive-through. This seems like a basic feature to me, and is supported by many other fast food restaurants e.g. McDonald, Burger King, etc.The food quality is good though, which provided a little bit of comfort.
I haven’t been to this KFC since it rebuilt after a fire.. 2672 Cropley Ave, San Jose, CA 95132 had ZERO spices on its coating!!! No flavor at all!! It was the worst fried , coated chin I have ever had!!!Never going back.. done with KFC!!
Best KFC in the neighborhood. Food is always fresh and hot. The employees are well groomed and always polite. Thank you.
Cajun Turkey for Thanksgiving.I ordered the Cajun Turkey meal for Thanksgiving.All the the food was hot when I picked it up at the appointedTime, except the Turkey. The note with the turkey said it was fully cooked.But would need to be heated in a 375 oven until 165* internal?? I thought the turkey would be hot, that’s why they had appointments to pick them up!The instruction gave no clue how long the turkey would need to be in the oven at 375*, before it would have a 165* internal temp. After an hour, I took the fully cooked, (per KFC) turkey out of the oven and started carving. WOW! When I removed the leg and thigh, the pieces were so red and bloody, I had to put them in the microwave to make it edible.Thankfully we had other options for main dishes, as, the microwaved Turkey wasn’t a big hit. Probably the worst tasting Thanksgiving Turkey I’ve ever tried to eat.
Edit: They reached out to us and made things right. The food was very good the second time, and the service too. Thank you Juan!Also, just FYI the dining room is closed. You need to either go through the drive thru or order on the app I believe.Awful. They told us it would be a 7 minute wait, we waited 25 and then they had forgotten or given it away to someone else. The food was wrong, we were missing items, and the fries tasted contaminated with cleaning solution. Just awful.
The close on business hours. We arrived at 3 pm. There is employees in side but refuse to open the door.
Since there are lots of negative review here. I might share why I gave 4 stars.I love fried chicken. I came from a country where we almost eat chicken everyday. Every fast food restaurant has a fried chicken. Even our 711 and Mcdonalds has a fried chicken.When I first arrived here I was craving for a fried chicken and in our country KFC is the 2nd or first( whichever you put it). But we had a delicious unlimited free gravy in the side of our chicken.I bought a bucket of 9 for $9.99 using a coupon. I was thankful that they accepted the coupon. There were 2 cars ahead of me in the drive thru. To my surprise it was real fast. Since my order was only a bucket it took me more or less than 3 mins to get my buckets. It was quick.Went home, tasted the chicken and it was real good well seasoned. Chicken was fresh and medium size. Most of the time in other KFC branches they would give me a tiny part like a kiddie meal. Overall Im satisfied, I went there around 10am maybe everything is still in order unlike to the later times.But I dont know. Kudos to the order taker and his assistant.Update:So I went there 02/15/2021I ordered 3 pcs chicken combo original.I was disappointed on how the size of the chicken it was very small and looks like the breading they accidentally dipped it in the crispy breading. 2/5
It's a good location. They were closed on Jan 4th for maintenance. Have not made it back. I would like to see some better coupons for the family bucket meals. Easy access. Good drive through.
A KFC favorite location... the Food is Excellent with Service to match!!!!
I don't like KFC chicken but goes there coz of family. Always quite place. Not crowded. Unnecessary expensive chicken. I don't know why
