I was pretty excited to try out this place since it had good reviews.What I liked was it's self service, not a fancy restaurant, budget friendly. Food overall is okay.We tried the chicken boti kebab. The taste was good but I am pretty sure they use food color in the kebab.The achari chicken was a disappointment. The gravy was flavorless, the chicken pieces were soft. The gravy was very OILY..! ?You get tandoori rotis here which is what we tried.They should work on making better curries with lesser oil and better taste. Ok

This place have become our goto restaurant from last one year or since they opened.I have been here multiple times and not a single time these guys has let us down with they delicious food quality.We have tried multiple items like Kheema, Nihari, Chicken biryani, lamb biryani, Chicken Hakka noodles, Chicken Fried rice, garlic naan...Out of these my favourites are Biryani and Kheema, and the one I liked the least was Fried rice.In general their service is fairly quick and they serve fresh food.When a new restaurant opens, they try to be good in the start then their quality drops, this has not been a case with Karimi.
Best place for desi food in Bay Area
Absolutely heavenly paneer, and the naan is to die for! Free tea at the front as well, and a super clean venue. The staff are professional and helpful, and speed of service is decent. All in all this place probably has the best paneer dishes in Fremont!

We LOVE Karimi! My boyfriend and I have been going here for almost two years and it never disappoints. We always know we're going to have a wonderful meal and full bellies. The owners and staff are incredible - always making sure we're taken care of and so friendly. They really care about their guests and the quality of food... and it shows!
I can say the best place to savor Goat/mutton biryani . goat pieces are tender and succulent . Lamb seekh kebab are a must try . Prices are reasonable and fast service . Go-to place for goat biryani
