Not gonna lie - just went here for their ambience and honestly I’ve forever been wanting to a cute little cafe here in the US and could hardly find any. I wish they opened cute cafes like these around the bay. This one was good, we just got their Vietnamese coffee which was more like Indian coffee! The area however seems to be shady and I wouldn’t recommend going here in the evenings - I feel there’s a reason why they close out at 3 PM on weekdays and 5 PM even on weekends!
I have been wanting to come here for a while, so finally on a Saturday, my girlfriends and I decided to come here for brunch. By the time we got here at 1030am, there was already a long line out the front gate of the restaurant. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations and the process is to order your food first at the counter then find open tables after. We ended up sharing tables with another group as it was a busy day.Tip: if you come with a group of people, it will be more efficient to split up into two groups, one to order food and one to look for seating. We ordered a couple of dishes to share and two drinks. For the drinks, we got dalgona coffee and matcha latte. They were both on the sweeter side but still pretty good!As for food, we ordered the fusion breakfast, which included eggs, fried chicken, sausages, croissant and fruits. We also got the shaking beef platter that included eggs, beef, bread and house salad.Out of the food orders, I find the shaking beef to be the most delicious! The rest of the items were just ok for us.Overall, this place is definitely instagrammable, but the food didn’t hit all the spots for me. What really took off points for me was the experience. I find it troublesome to have to wait and find seatings after ordering food. I hope they will take reservations in the future.
I went on a sunday and there was a wait time of 45 minutes generally and you can't reserve a table so go as early as possible. You have to share tables so forget privacy! There was a tiny parking place behind the cafe and I was really lucky to find parking!Literally 3 brunch options only for vegetarians. I had the mango lychee tea and it was absolutely delish!Very very cute ambience. I absolutely loved it! 111
Beautiful place both exterior and interior. Outdoor sitting available. Went here few times, there’s a small parking area at the back but others do street park. Food is delicious, those steak bites are mouthwatering. Cakes and sweets are delish and coffee is great. All the staff are great. thank you all. Going back next time to try more cakes. Restroom available.
This place is truly instagrammable. So if you are looking for a pretty cafe or probably planning for ladies brunch or something you can visit this place.. When it comes to food its pretty average, nothing wow or extraordinary to mention. An price is on higher side.. Another important thing is if you’re visiting on weekend then be prepared to wait in queue..I wanted to try their custard toast but they informed its not on menu now. If I have to recommend anythingthen I would say try their waffle with fresh fruits
We went there on a Thursday morning, not so crowded. The hazelnut coffee was good but just a little sweet (we already requested no sugar). The crunchy chocolate cake is delicious and we loved the texture! It is a beautiful, magical cafe, wonderful experience.
I went with some friends in the afternoon and we had an amazing time. The cashier was hospitable and had a good drink recommendation. I ordered the chicken and waffles and mango passion fruit tea drink. The chicken was seasoned well, the meat tender and juicy and the skin delightfully crispy. The waffle was definitely not your typical box batter waffle. It was delicious. The fruit that was placed on the pile of fresh cream was not sour at all. It is rare for fresh fruit to taste so good at any cafe or restaurant, but this cafe somehow managed to get their hands on actually good tasting fruit. The mango passion fruit tea is not too sweet and perfect for a spring or summer day. The only real critique I have would be the choice of music. I appreciate pirate shanties and modern day rap music, however it kind of disrupts the romantic french cafe atmosphere of the place. I feel like french music or some sort of lofi would really help set a mood. Overall, had an amazing time and would love to come again!
Before you go:Parking - The cafe is off a busy street and corner of a residential area. Highly recommend carpooling since parkings are pretty much non-existent and the neighborhood stares you down if you park in front of their house. There is a tiny parking lot behind their restaurant but don't even think about finding a spot there on the weekends.Seatings - The seating is on a first come first serve basis for the general public. On the weekends, you are less likely to find seats inside the restaurant which is more favorable in terms of decorations. But I also find the outdoor decor charming. If you really want to get the best seats, I would recommend sacrificing a friend and that person can go earlier than the rest of the party and park themselves at a table shamelessly ?.Alright, now on with the food:Food - As you can see, the food is plated on large plates to make "brunch" look amazing! They truly make you feel like you are getting lots of food! Tho, the plates are so huge it is hard to fit on a table! Egg tastes like eggs and was cooked to our preference. We get options to choose a side AND this is where you can get a Milk Tea at 9am in the morning!!!!!The cafe is pretty cute and perfect for groups who want to do a fancy brunch. I see lots of ladies in their floral dress and sun hat on a cloudy day ?.Oh, the online app (which you have to download) is ONLY for to-go only. If you want your food on the fancy big plate I mentioned earlier, you must line up like everyone else...
What a wonderful little destination spot !! This place was absolutely gorgeous, in design and general appearance, and in the way the food is presented and appears. The food in taste itself was actually really surprising. Usually with more "bougie" or hipster places like this one, the food (exotic or not usual ingredients included) can be fairly mediocre. Their food is actually really really good, especially their soy garlic fries !As someone with an extreme allergy to coffee, the wide selection of drinks that aren't coffee, and lattes that can be made with or without it, I was so dang happy to enjoy so many options !!One complaint: plastic wear. A plastic fork with a lot of their food choices is just not it. Upgrade to silverware and you'll have zero complaints from me.
The ambiance is everything. Extremely cute for brunch
