I love coming to this place for the tender goat, flavorful basmati rice and delicious African tea that has such a warm and herbal richness once you drink it. My only complaint is the dine in experience was too humid to be comfortable and eat but everything was fabulous. Definitely will recommend to people who love flavor and authentic variations of yummy goodness

Located at the base of the Light Rail station, there is also ample parking so you can get here via car or train. I also saw about five orders waiting for pickup by DoorDash so it's popular. When I walked in for the first time, I was greeted by the amazing aroma of stir fry. Keep in mind I don't have a good sense of smell (and I was wearing a mask). It smelled so good. It turned out to be a good sign because we ordered the jumbo steak and the chicken 'wrap' and we both loved our first try of Somalian food.

visiting from another state but if i were a local i'd eat here all the time. sooo delicious, reasonably priced (you get A LOT of it), friendly staff, complimentary tea which tastes good as well. If i'm ever in san jose again i'd definitely stop by for another fantastic meal. my son has this to say about their food: "there's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy!"

Heard about this restaurant for a while but haven't had a chance to go. I finally went. The food is ?????.Food is 10/10.Customer Service is 10/10Sambusa 10/10Chicke plate with rice 10/10Green salsa 10/10 spicy level ?????White sauce 10/10I highly recommend. If you like spicy, its a must go

A must try , I just tried 4 items , 3 were absolutely amazing. The Goat cutlet dish with rice , the chicken one with Chapatti and Sambussa .. the chapatti and rice were delicious. The sweet is not so the best .. Try dine in, check the portion before you order as it’s a little too much for one person.

Amazing Somali food!! If you haven’t tried Jubba you’re missing out. Loved their beef samosa and suggar plates, so much quantity too!

I think the rating is exceedingly good probably more than it deserves because it is sort of a hidden place and the taste of food is way better than presentation. So people eating there first time are presently surprised. Meats are slow cooked that gives the better taste. But for a hole in the wall place price is quite high. While goat just tastes as it should be when slow cooked (or cooked in pressure cooker) the beef was too dry. For 3 items I ordered, one beef and two goat dishes I paid about 71 bucks.. was a bit surprised when I saw the bill.

Great food, great prices, fast service. All you can drink delicious hot tea. Friendly staff. First time at this restaurant and I loved it. I will definitely be back. ????

I always love the food from this restaurant, but I can’t keep up with the attitude I get every time I come to eat or I order food over the phone. The reason I’m writing this review is that I order food the other day and I specifically asked them to make it spicy and add extra spice on the side, but guess what, it feels like they purposely made it the opposite and when I went to pick it up the food the dark skinned tall guy(probably one of the owner sons), ignored me for 15min and then he waived his hand toward the food on the other table for me to pick it up and then when I asked for extra spicy he throw it on the table while I was waiting to take it from his hand. This is very disrespectful and poor management that need to be changed before they lose good customers like me!

It’s my first time trying Somalian cuisine. You would never know until you try it. One of the best food I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place.
