First timer, stopped for one before picking up a friend of a friend at the SJ airport.The bartender is sharp, a bit of an old timer vibe from him, in a great way. Jovial and engaged, he pours a good pint, but haven't had a cocktail yet, so I'll reserve one star until I've had the full experience.I'd like to have more time to enjoy this place so I can give it the fifth star, if it deserves it.
One of the last good bars left in San Jose. Need the game? They got hella TV's. What ever you drink they have. Open late and a patio out back for those nice days.Great local family owns it and runs it. A gem of a "dive".
Frist time there I always wanted to go there but never had time, but I made the time today I love it but felt a little Concern about to many people in there an no mask ? next time I'll sit outside and see how that work out. the Service needs to be a little better had to wait about 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar and there wasn't that much people when I got there so I left an came back and the place was packed so I just left if I had to wait 15 minutes for a drink an it wasn't that busy hate to see how long I have to wait for a drink when it's busy otherwise the place was ok ?
Good ambiance out back but need to turn screen brightness up during daytime! Screens in direct sunlight are hard to see.Staff is wonderful and nice and it was a fun time!
Very rude staff, horrible sevice. Over priced on everything they serve.... dingey and dirty try caravan lounge way better place...if i could give jacks zero stars i would... theyll jack you off here for sure on service and slay you with high prices while being rude one of there saff also made me feel very uncomfrotable as i used the rest room following me in there and banged on the door cause i ansered an energyncy phone call he repeatitlly was banging embaressing me i wasnt even there 15 min!! ... well thats why you left a poor review....i guess i will take my buisness outside huh? Thank u for your kind sevice........ belive me this pkace a ways sucked.... want a better sports bar go to kirbeys in fremont they even got tvs in the bathroom so u cant miss the game.... jacks is boring meat head douch bags....how you like dem apples?! dont get jacked listen to the hack?
Clean place gave the feel of a old-fashioned tavern with new large outside patio Stella drafts were excellent ice cold!
The atmosphere is very good here. The best you can really expect from a local small bar. Selection of products exceeds your expectations. Try it out. I will go back.
Good spot to watch early games. Great outdoor space. Food from sister restaurant Jtown pizza available after 11. Will have to try that one of the next visits.
Great place for watching sports. Friendly people. Worked closely enough with another business to provide food all the same as if they had their own kitchen. Bartender made sure all the TVs were playing some relevant. And switched them up immediately after one event ended. Top of my list for this area.
