A couple weeks ago I went in to pick up breakfast and could not believe what I found in my food. As I’m finishing my panini I bite down on a very hard object. As I spit out the food I’m shocked to discover a drill bit in my sandwich. As I immediately contact the restaurant, instead of being met with serious concerns by the staff I receive quirky jokes about the situation. Jim who answered the phone states, “we can get you another panini with no hardware next time.” Complete utter lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. Owner and staff completely unfazed by a very serious situation that could have been a lot worse. Owner cares more about selling his expensive food, than the health and safety of his customers.
Came on a calm Monday for lunch. Good flow of customers came through. The downside to this spot is the very limited parking. The parklet outside is a little scary to eat at with trucks and vehicles zooming by. The chilaquiles were phenomenal and on point, the crunchy tortillas and chorizo with sauce was great. Portion size was great for the price. The spicy mango smoothie was a bit too sweet (was expecting more of a mango flavor with spicy kick). Great selection of items to pick from. Ambience inside is casual and nice. Staff was amicable and quick to serve.
When your wife says, “This is what food in heaven is going to taste like,” you know you’ve found the new go-to spot! You’ve GOT TO TRY the Pistachio Signature Latte hot. If you don’t we can’t be friends ? the Chilaguiles was hecka spicy but super good! The French toast was super fluffy and delicious! The view from the window was peaceful and aesthetically pleasing :)Jim at the cashier was very helpful and great customer service skills. Be there or be square!!!
Always heard about this place and today I finally got the chance to stop by and I must say definitely worth it such a beautiful little spot. My first time won’t be my last the lady and gentleman in the front were very welcoming the guy suggested blended xtreme toffee I fell in love it lol . Best breakfast I had since moving to San Jose.
I have been eating there since they opened! Great food and coffee! Quality ingredients!!! Also healthy choices! I love there new restaurant!
We ordered the tiger chai with espresso, a pistachio latte, avocado toast (no egg) and the peanut butter/granola toast. The drinks and food were delicious and fresh. Drawback is the huge wait every single time. The bathroom also could have used a bit of cleaning.
The coffee here is some of the best I've had. The Xtreme is delicious, and my go to cup. However, at the suggestion of the gal at the front, I tried the pistachio, and it was amazing. The food is the real deal here. It is seriously gourmet, and a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch.
I've lived and worked in this area for over 20 years. I knew this place existed for a while . What I didn't know were a few things: they've been here for nearly 10 years. They're not just a coffee Cafe. They have a definite focus on quality food and drinks. I'm not even a coffee drinker and I do quite like their lattes. The food; well that's just something else entirely. A well varied menu with a few unique twists and every single thing I've has here has been fantastic. I'm glad I know about this place, I'm sad it took me so long to know about it.
Place is for locals only. You feel outta place when walking through the doors. The fungschway is in disarray. Staff makes u wanna take your drink togo or at least sit out side so you don't have to be cooped up in that stuffy building. Also there was a doordash driver there and it seemed as if the staff didn't trust him by making him show his phone to them to confirm an order. Any Dasher probably knows in order to get your money you obviously have to confirm and in addition I'm pretty sure the DoorDash platform has a fail safe when it comes to their Drivers confirming orders. The staff was just plain rude.
We walked here after visiting the Discovery museum. Got a table with the kids. They were very accommodating and were able to make a kids food option, I had a iced nice latte, and the wraps are big enough to share. We had a great experience here for a quick lunch.
