It would be unfair to judge on a single visit, but the flavor, quantity and sophistication of the food does not surpass a high quality dim sum offering even though the price is about 30% more. Some of the flavor pairing were delightful while others were merely a distraction. For example: placing caviar atop a nearly perfect dumpling that has be set in a well matched sauce is like putting gold on ice cream ... why do it? The Staff was attentive and polite and the format of the meal very nice. I think it is still early days and will give the team a little more time to get in their groove.

The ambiance and decors are very beautiful. No complaints there. Price for the location is OK, I do realized we pay for the location. Food was horrible. Vegetarian choices are limited but even the non-vegetarian dishes are just 2.5 stars. Garlic noodles was very bland, eggplants was salty and rich, braised tofu was the worse of all. The vegetables used were not fresh, looks like they had pull out of the fridge from a week ago! Wagyu beef was overcooked… oh and the worse part, there is NO desserts! Our waiter said they are working on the dessert menu, but don’t worry, there are many options to find good sweets all over the mall😯 If you go for the ambiance then give it a try but the food you can do so much better else where. We wouldn’t go back.

We had a great time at iCHiNA to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Menu was the 5-course Summer Tasting Menu. All were very good. My favorite was the shrimp dumpling. The Sole dish was good, but it was on the spicy side. I wish they has asked about the level of spiciness of the guests. It was too spicy for my sister. Otherwise, all dishes were very nicely presented and very tasty.

Michelle was an amazing waitress! Very polite and kind. I forgot the other waiter’s name but he was also great. Thank you to the food servers who described each dish with great detail and elegance. My mom was very happy to celebrate her birthday at iChina.

I really enjoyed the tasting menu. I felt the portions were actually fairly generous for a tasting menu. The Sole was my favorite. The only missing course was a dessert. A small sweet bite at the end would be nice rather than having to purchase an entire dessert. The price of the food seemed okay, but the drinks seemed overpriced. My wine tasting was $58 for 3 tiny pours of wine. The other problem with the tiny pours were that I spent half of my dinner with only water to drink. I also didn’t feel like much of the wine was well paired. Overall, I will definitely go back. Next time I’ll just order wine by the glass.

A perfect birthday dinner. Music was at a perfect level, waiters were knowledgeable about the dishes and explained in perfect detail. Kitchen looked impeccable. Every dish was perfect, and presentation took my breath away. Loved it!

Food quality and taste were meh compared to other restaurants with similar price range. Mostly all blend, no flavors, dried and greasy.

The surprising dish was the Chawamushi. That was unexpected.

So good! Incredibly fancy and delicious. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. They were so kind and gave us free champagne and a dessert to celebrate our honeymoon!

Gorgeous environment, everything was beautiful right down to the golden chopsticks! Great Hibiscus cocktail.
