Really good fish and shrimp, fair chips good onion rings. BIG pieces of fish too. Hubby says best clam chowder he's had in a long time, even better than in SF! Been here twice in last couple of weeks and was good both times, might try the calamari for him next and the large chowder, he liked it so much. Needs a bit of cleaning up in the dining area, wasn't "dirty" just kinda sad looking, but I got the food to go anyway.
I'm new to the Bay area and decided to try some fish on a Friday. I looked at several places before I chose Harbor Fish & Chips, unfortunately reviews are deceiving. This might be some of the worst fish and chips I've ever had. I watched them make it and the fish was frozen, not fresh. It was cooked in really old and stinky oil. The batter has no flavor whatsoever. Not salted in any way, super disappointing. Much to my chagrin when I opened the bag I realized they don't give you tartar sauce (good thing I ordered "extra")or lemon. Lemon is a staple for fish and chips! I got some mushrooms and onion rings as a side just to check it out and the batter was unsalted for these as well. The last thing I can say is I was sorely disappointed at the ratio of fish to fries. Was probably half a handful of fries that were also unsalted and once again overcooked. Dry tasteless and stank up my car. I do not recommend you ever go here and I'm sorry for anyone that ever ate here.

I had the fish and chips. The pieces of fish were very big and they were tasty.
