We had a dinner at the restaurant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ping Pong Diplomacy. Dynasty Seafood is an amazing top shelf experience. Elegant surroundings, gourmet chinese food, great service. Some of my favorite dishes: cold platter with roast pork, char siu and jellyfish, abalone with bok choy, succulent smoked duck, and lobster noodles. If you are planning a dinner to celebrate a special ocassion, this is the restaurant
After the good old Dynasty was closed as the Vallco Shopping Mall was demolished, they reopened here with even more modern and grand decor. We like that the tables were not too packed. We ordered the Happy Family set dinner for 10 (合家歡聚宴). The qualify of the food did not disappoint. And the quantity was OK as our party of 9 couldn't finish it all. But maybe because it was close to closing time, they rushed out all the dishes pretty much all at once. It'd be better if they could pace it .Note that they would add a minimum of 18% service fee even for a party of two. For us a party of 9 there is a 20% service fee added in the bill.
Extravagantly decorated interior won’t cover the subpar quality of this restaurant. I won’t come again. The service of this place is quite disappointing. We were not quite familiar with the portion of this place and asked the server if 4 dishes were enough for 3 people, she said no and we ordered one more, the server was also trying to sell us something very expensive, overall very pushy service. The taste was so-so and the food seemed to be overpriced. There was also a 19% service fee applied to the bill which I wouldn’t voluntarily pay. Don’t recommend this place. Definitely one of, if not the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in the Bay Area.
Beautiful interior and extremely spacious with high ceilings. Dim sum was hot and fresh. When I'm craving dim sum I always go here right when it opens and have never had to wait. Can't complain with that! You'll be able to find all your favorite dim sum dishes here.
Love this place. Great dim sum. Reasonable prices. They also have a good private venue if you are looking to host a larger party for 40+ people (see photos).
This is a clean, isolated and safe dining place. There is a lot of space in the hall, the distance between the tables is wide, and the waiters are wearing masks. The tableware on the table is very clean. We went to have morning tea at eleven o'clock, and there were few people. When we left, the guests gradually increased. Therefore, guests who require a safe distance can choose to go in the morning. In the morning, you can have a lot of porridge, noodles, vegetables, snacks, etc. You can have a lot of choices. The food is served quickly and tastes good. The taste is biased towards Cantonese cuisine.
Dim sum for Sunday Afternoon. Google says seating is immediate but the 3 of us waited about 45 min. Once we finally seated the dim sum started coming around quickly on the little carts.Had a variety of dumplings, ribs, tripe, and some sort of chicken stewed in wine sauce. Then ordered some beef noodles from the menu and it came out reasonably fast.Overall not bad.
High quality Dim Sum, but a long wait. I would reccommend getting a reservation online or calling in. All the dishes were well made. You'll need to ask for sauces since they aren't on the tables.Parking is tricky when coming on the weekend (morning), the plaza was packed. Our party spent roughly $24 per person.
Do NOT go! Or do NOT have waitress named Rebecca to have your order! Stay away from her! She’s TOO pushy. I read the similar review too that she didn’t let you order what you want. So sharing these experiences and hope you don’t end up like my poor dinning experience1, I wanted two combinations of BBQ meats. She pretended deaf and kept saying Three. Took me like couple minutes to correct her2, I wanted boil Spotted Shrimp, as I always ordered. She kept selling something more expensive seafood. And at the end told me there’s no prawn. So I ordered Australian coral trout without being informed the price.3, I wanted two bowls of brown rice. Again she pretended not to understand, and pushed me to order Fried Rice like we spent almost three four minutes going through the menu till I pointed out the simple brown rice! Please respect your customers! And play no tricks!谨慎和服务员Rebecca点菜。不专业而且使用欺诈伎俩非常拙劣。太可惜了吃了这么多年的皇朝不打算再去了Only reserve 1 star
New restaurant, convenient parking, very large facility, good for banquet. Only tried a couple dim sum, average taste. Ordered several main dishes, including a steamed fresh fish. The fish quality was great, but the sauce was too salty. As a matter of fact, most of the dishes were on the salty side. The lobster was not as fresh as it should be. Even the vegetables were over cooked. Prices were on the high end.
