The food was not that great. Greasy and overpriced. There were many gnats and flies coming from the bar area ( not very clean). The most disappointing part of the evening was having to watch our waitress get chewed out by her manager right in front of us. So unprofessional. We felt very uncomfortable and felt so bad for the wait staff as she was not the only one he was screaming at. Atmosphere was nice though (besides the gnats) the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. I would recommend sitting outside on the patio...if you can stand the smell of urine that is permeating from the sidewalk. We won't go back.
The service was terrible. I was just there to pick up a late night meal. Neither host acknowledged my existence upon walking into the restaurant. No bartender even breathed in my direction. I had to walk to the back, into the kitchen, and ask a chef where it was I could pick up my order. Of the three waitresses standing next to the chef, none of them knew where it was. I had to go back to the front and ask both hosts before finally getting it and paying way too much for such a pretentious and mediocre meal. The beef tounge was like chewing on a rubber sole. The wonton chips were so over salted they burned my mouth. It felt like the garlic noodles had been drenched in sand before being served. The only food item worth noting was the chicken karaage. Congrats on this place for not screwing up chicken nuggets. I am beyond disappointed. San Jose lacks a lot of late night food options and I was hoping maybe this place could be a regular spot for me. I will never be going back here.
Very interesting combination of Asian and Spanish food. The chicken was perhaps too spicy for my parents, and the noodles were oily, but it was a good meal and the location on surprisingly nice given all the larger hotels in the neighborhood.
Food was tapas style and generally good. Potato bravas was too tomatoey ?, avocado tostada was good but small, dumplings were just the right size and had interesting lotus root chips paired with it.
This was a good spot to go to. We are here and it was good and we had a few drinks. Place is modern with a sense of upscale vibrancy that favors the bold and eccentric. The bar tender was highly knowledgeable in the art of mixology. I had them make me a special drink that had a dash of amazing mix with complexity and it was relentlessly overwhelming. I would come back to this place because it’s a good spot.
Really good place with tasty cocktails and their chicken karage was fantastic! Crispy and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a cute spot for a date night!
I went with my boyfriend for a date. It’s a nice spot for a dinner with friends or a date but definitely not for families. The wait time for food is high but the food is good and the staff are nice.
Excellent food and cocktails. Asian fusion tapas
mixologist is awesome great drinks server is very friendly I would definitely recommend this place
Obscenely long wait for food and water. The food, when it finally came, was good, but tiny portions. Probably trendy and hip, but we were looking for laid back eats and a rooftop restaurant. No rooftop, but this is where Google suggested. I don’t recommend it.
