Restaurant was clean. The Shrimp were bite sized and had been cleaned before deep fried. No tail to worry about. I was most impressed with the fish. Not sure what type but very nice fillet cooked to perfection. I'm not a french fry person because I avoid starch but would guess paprika included in the seasoning, tasted like curly. The homemade Lemonade was "Da Bomb! I will go back next time I want fish and sub out the fries for coleslaw. The owner is nice and I wish him great luck!
Super friendly worker, and the food was outstanding. Not your traditional fish and chips, but just as good if not better. Not too pricey either so definitely worth a visit if you're thinking about it.
Do yourself a huge favor and pay a visit to this amazing restaurant. This place is great, clean, welcoming with excellent service.Atmosphere and ambiance are chill and cool but also the chef/owner is super nice and friendly. 5 stars from me...thank you chef for the great food, price and your creativity cooking skill. I am definitely coming back to dine in this place again.
WOW! Freshest and most delicious fish and chips in San Jose!! I can’t help but mention this place to not only my friends, but to everyone I encounter. This place is too good. Wish I could give it 100 stars just for the homemade sauce, homemade deserts, and incredible vibe throughout the whole place. P.S. I heard they’re going to have live music in the future
Fantastic lunch at Golden Catch today! Found it through Google. Super fresh fried fish and shrimp. For being fried they still tasted nice and light. Delicious special sauces. Tasty seasoning on the fries. Fresh tasty lemonades! Boyfriend said it was the best coleslaw he’d ever had. Highly recommend! And the outdoor patio is a great added bonus! Very relaxing.
What a great hidden jewel!If you're in the mood for good old fish and chips, they have delicious sway fish! Very light and crispy.I also tried the shrimp bowl with lemon garlic butter sauce, my favorite! The shrimp size is large, cooked to perfection, very crisp and fresh to order!If you're in downtown San Jose, this is definitely a great place to check out, have a quick bite!Both of discovered they have a patio in the back, if the weather is nice, maybe soak some sun!The staff are very professional, and service is quick. My food was made in 6 minutes!The decor is very retro 1970 Greek fisherman's town with an elegant finish!
This place hit the spot !!! I wish I had more room to try more things... Which is exactly why I will be back everything was delicious. The shrimp and the hot sauce they use is wow it was amazing.Service was fast and friendly!!!
Tried the shrimp and fries. Shrimp is Crispy and appropriately breaded. Surprised to see choices of sauces provided. Not common as people tend to give sauces when asked. Owner was kind enough to provide like 5 options of sauces! Bang bang and the spicy sauce are my fav. Garlic sauce is mellow and not too buttery. Enjoyed the food and can’t wait to more of the menu!
This is definitely my go to fish and chips place from now on, I've never seen a concept like the one they have. They make everything in house, everything tasted so fresh, I got the super hungry combo meal and it was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The fish is breaded it was super light, not oil and crispy, the shrimp is Panko breaded super crispy as well. They make their own gourmet sauces the spicy chili garlic and lemon garlic butter were my favorite. Their mango tea lemonade is a must try as well, oh and their churros and ice cream!
I discovered this gem of a restaurant with a friend this past weekend and let me tell you I haven’t stopped craving it. They have a really nice outdoor patio the overall ambiance was very welcoming. I ordered the shrimp sliders with the bang bang sauce I definitely recommend! I will be returning soon!
