One of my favorite poke spots! Love that they have yam noodles as a base and that their fish is always fresh, but I keep coming back for the sesame gomae sauce. It's the perfect amount of creamy and sweet, and I wish they sold it in a bottle because I would put it on everything!
I have been a frequent customer at the Go Fish Poke Bar for a couple of years. However, my experience today at Go Fish Poke Bar has made me question whether I should go back. Today, I received significantly less food and paid the same price for it. Normally, the bowls are filled up, but I had only half of my bowl filled. Whoever who prepared my bowl (I had my order to-go) did a terrible job. Other reviews listed here also show that this is not a one time incident, as they received less food for the same price. It's really disappointing.
Their fish is consistently fresh and the portions are very good. I especially like their food handling practices. They always put on new gloves before handling food and use a clean bowl to mix in sauce. It’s too bad that seaweed and masago cost extra, but it’s understandable.
Superbly fresh ingredients, awesome portion sizes, knowledgeable folks to help you design you bowl. Can't get any better!!
Poke here is really good. I have been coming here for a few years now. Always fresh and service is great.
Don’t go!! Ordered regular and got half size of bowl.
Spicy Salmon and shrimp rolls are good, but the service is a little bit rude. Maybe if they change the staff’s attitude a little bit, it would be a great experience.
Decent Poke made to spec. Fish seems good quality. A few other dishes, but haven't tried them.
This place used to be the best but quality has gone down (smaller portions, charging for things that used to be free, crab is now really liquidy) but I really won’t come here anymore because of the service. The employees are all entitled kids who do not know what they’re doing and are super slow.Today, I placed an online order and 30 minutes later when I showed up to pick it up, they hadn’t even started on it. There wasn’t even a big lunch rush either and someone that showed up without an online order got his at the same time I did. Of course they messed up my order by switching the toppings I had wanted on each bowl and forgetting wasabi. At this point I told him I was in a rush and asked if they could comp just one of the bowls. He completely brushed this off and ended up using his hands to remove the extra toppings off one bowl and added more to the other. Honestly, if they had been nicer about this maybe I wouldn’t have minded, but their attitudes were just so annoying. This was definitely the final straw for me in a series of subpar experiences I’ve had here in the past year. I hope the other locations are better.
We go here pretty regularly, and the portions have gotten significantly smaller, leaving our bowls with plenty of extra space on the top. Too bad, since it was our favorite for a while.
