It was just ok. Nothing great at all. Service was spotty. Appetizers were weak bland Fried Calamari and an order of fries that were their own appetizer but literally a bowl of basic fries. Itâs a place to go to if everything else is booked I suppose. Itâs not horrible but I see no reason on going back unless I was dying to have a beer. I have no idea how people are rating this 4 stars or higher. In Silicon valley? Much better places downtown.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and I found Firehouse No. 1 on Opentable. It was Friday night and parking was a bit challenging. We were seated right away in the back corner of the restaurant. Our server was friendly and prompt. Drinks were served right away. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! The bone marrow appetizer was devoured quickly, as was the calamari. My friend's ribeye steak was a perfect medium rare. I had mussels and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We ended up staying & chatting at the restaurant for a long time. It got loud at times but overall the volume was manageable. My only complaint is that our bench seats were not the most comfortable. Otherwise everything else was great. Would certainly recommend this place and return for future visits.
We ordered 3 dishes, all three were below average. 1. The ribeye steak was paper thin with lots of fat around and all over it. Its side dish of mashed potatoes was so bad my 15-year-old who loves anything potatoes in it, did not eat it. another side dish to this was green beans, they were raw and un-edible. 2. Two bison burgers were ordered medium rare, they both came well done. We left all three dishes and left the restaurant for another place to feed the kids. VERY EXPENSIVE. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, AND WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. The staff was super nice and helpful.
This is our 4th visit, worth it every time. We both had Flat iron steak, comes with a salad and choice of fries or pesto mashed potatoes and I added a side of veggies. We also had the calamari to start sorry no pics of that. We have had the burger and rib eye before and both were also excellent.
Had the house special skirt steak with rosemary pesto mash potatoes and grilled vegetables. Super delicious 100% going back. Rahg our server was great and got us everything we needed including blackberry sours and other drinks. ?
I honestly never leave a review unless it’s really good, or really bad…this was definitely the first. First off the bartender Raag, from start to finish, completed the whole experience. Drinks, dinner, experience, all on point. I live in Texas and came in on a business trip and found a gem. Will definitely be back and will be bringing coworkers and friends. Thx for a great evening.

I cannot wait for another occasion to eat here. Found restaurant on OpenTable day of reservation. I needed to feed by boss and took a chance. AMAZING QUALITY service, drinks, atmosphere, food, top to bottom :)
Graduation and we were seated in back so not too loud for our larger party. Great service and food!
No AC. Eating outside next time. Restrooms needs paper towels.
