great food will eat here again for sure
Decided to get some BBQ for lunch with friend. Pictured is my meal, and it was delicious! The chicken was cooked nicely and not dry. The ribs were delicious, however not the most tender I’ve ever had. Beans were decent, a little sweeter than I prefer. And the potatoes and cornbread were good too. It was fairly expensive but overall a good experience. I also highly recommend their devil’s spit spicy bbq sauce if you like spicy ?
Came for the unlimited rib tips on Thursdays as advertised on their website but this location does not participate in that promo at this time. But we still stayed and enjoy their delicious BBQ. Masks were not required during our visit today. YAYY! Some normalcy!
BBQ is definitely hard to find. I actually discovered famous Dave’s when I was on a trip to Reno and wanted BBQ. Went online and Googled barbecue spots nearby and this one happened to pop up. Decided to go and check it out and I definitely wasn’t disappointed and then I learned that there was one closer to me where I actually live.My favorite thing is brisket and this one was delicious. The baked beans weren’t bad and the cornbread muffin was tasty. I also got a hot link which I was really glad it was semi-burnt because that’s how I enjoy the hot links. I would definitely come back to famous Dave’s.
1st time going here we ordered online to go right before closing. Picked it up and went home. When we started pulling out the items, we were missing sides from 3 dofferent meals. Its not like we could have drove back because they were closed. After an hour finally talked to them over the phone and they gave us a card for a bad experience. That was a month ago.Now coming back again, we ordered our food in store to go. The manager said he check it and make sure everything was okay this time. That was a lie. We got our food. We asked if they checked it, the lady was like yeah. Checked it in the car. We notice they gave us an extra dish we didn't order. Maybe it was on the house I dont know. However, the rest of the meals were missing two sides. The food was all mixed up and sloppy presentation. The boxes were sticky. If the food takes 15 minutes to do. Take 20 minutes and do it RIGHT!
Very cool wine bar. Lots of beer and wine choices. The ambiance was extremely intimate/romantic. I went on a Friday night and it got super crowded so get there early on the weekend if you want a place to sit.
This place is overpriced. The Texas brisket tasted like spam and the pulled pork was dry and tasteless. Food was not even hot. Obviously made earlier and reheated. Won't be going there again. Oh, don't bother ordering a drink If you want a refill. Waitress only returned to deliver the bill.
Ordered a big family plater meal with extra pulled pork…I have to remove my original review of 5/5 due to this most recent visit. Unfortunately they mixed spoiled and old leftover food with our fresh food. The corn was slimy like it had been sitting in the refrigerator. The meat tasted old and dry, I’m not sure if they had a change of cooks or if they are hurting for money. I’m not playing on going back especially. Definitely following up with the Santa Clara County Health Department.
Came in today to get sat down and unfortunately the front guest gave me a weird vibe and bad look. Sat the party in front of me right away, and told me to wait 5 minutes to get sat down due to his waiters being overwhelmed. I sat down and waited for 10 minutes and as soon as another party of two came in, the same front guest member sat them right away and saw me while doing though. Never coming back to this place again, horrible service and bad vibes from the guy. Shame
Food was good but not great, even with the hot sauce, lacking the spicy flavor I enjoy with BBQ. The atmosphere in the bar room was quite comfortable. The place was a bit short-staffed but worked hard to provide good service.
