The Carne asada was very fatty although flavorful very fatty. the flowers were dead on our table. super dark the corner felt like we're in a cave. this place use to be great place. never see the owner the waiteress and waiters are great it's not their fault that the owner is pricing the crap out of the meals and literally took away sides. OK guys you can't order a taco! You have to pay $15.00 or combination plate to get a taco. very sad day ?
Slow service example: Salad came last.Music was very loud you almost had to yell to the person beside you. Smaller portions then previously.Food and drinks did taste good so 3 /5 stars.
The best choice is the chili relleno. Salsa is good too. But the inside is intentionally dark. Curtains closed, ceiling black, music loud. Not my thing, but they do have an outdoor space.
Service was great. Prompt and polite. Orders came out quickly and accurately. The mahi-mahi was phenomenal! One of the best peices of fish I've ever had! Great house-made salad dressing, salsa, and tortillas. Would absolutely come back!
Second time I've been here. The first time was pre covid and second today. Both times ordered menudo and michelada. Both times were delicious.
Food is ok but not great. Burrito was mostly rice. Mole sauce was fair. Flautas were decent. Service was also fair - friendly, but kids food came out last, we had to stop servers to get drink refills, etc. It is not bad, but at this price point I would expect better.
two star for the margaretta it was really good and the salsa was really good and hot. The refried beans with cheese had a good taste. The tortillas were really bad there the small flower store bought tortillas but cold, the chile rellenos were the worst i have ever had, the chile was filled with seeds and cheese but no taste it was bland - the entire food wasn't even luke warm ugh...there is nothing worse than cold food - my first time here and my last.
The employees are amazing They always remember us, our dinner order and drink order The owner John is a penny pincher and not a good business person. If we dine in we get free chips and salsa, if we call in to pick up our order I’m not sure what he’s doing If we door dash he charges for chips and salsa I called tonight and the girl that answered said dine in now offers one basket free chips and salsa but there is a charge for the second one Come on tight wad stop chasing Pennie’s and let dollars go by You’re loosing your regulars Over cheap tortilla chips!
I ordered online for pickup. Looking forward to a chicken fajita burrito with grilled onions and peppers…..waited an extra 30 mins from texted time to pick up time to get order - got home and I had a chicken burrito only - no onions, no peppers, no requested black beans - totally screwed order. I tried calling - no answer. Poor!!
We had the Nacho cheese burrito and the Chicken Fajita burrito. They both were great. I love their rice! Just need a milder salsa as it was a little too spicy for us. Thanks, we will be back!
