We ordered a couple of dishes. I felt that everything was alright, but not wow. The galbi was great. It came with around 9 pieces and was quite expensive. Our bill for 8 people was $380 after tax and tip. The fish soup wasn’t the freshest. I’d say I’d next time just go for the japchae and galbi
Overall okay, food was tasty but too small for the price. Ordered the wings and got 8 for $20. Ambience is nice inside, though. Gonna try different places next time I'm in SJ
this place is solid, nothing fancy but the way I like it. We ordered army stew (the name terrible but trust me, it’s a combination of ham, vege, cheese, ramen… can’t go wrong), beef soon dubu jjigae (tofu). Both were good
Everything we tried was great. Quick service too!
The servers were sweet. We asked to be seated farther away from the speakers which were quite loud and my dining companion is hard of hearing. They significantly turned down the volume which was helpful.A lot of the dishes are spicy which didn't work for my companion who has a sensitive stomach. He got the thinly-sliced beef fried in an egg batter which the server said was her favorite dish. He quite enjoyed it. $20. A small asahi was $6.I'm keto and not a pork eater, so my options are limited. I got the beef tofu stew which was fine. It was $18 plus another $2 for extra beef. I wouldn't say it was particularly filling but it was tasty enough. I would have appreciated if it had some vegetables in it there was just a tiny bit of green onions. I asked for spicy. It comes in mild medium or spicy. It was not very spicy, which is fine. The ban chan was disappointing actually. Usually I get pretty excited about the side dishes. Very small portions and just so-so taste. It's not a great neighborhood but I felt okay parking in the parking lot, there was ample parking. Street parking was very limited. They close the kitchen at 8:30 p.m.The decor is minimalist and clean. There was a distracting squeaking noise coming from the corner which I'm assuming was outside, maybe a pole in the wind?Total was just over 50 bucks. They had suggested tips of 16, 18 and 22%.I probably wouldn't be back but it was fine.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch on a Saturday. We started with the veggie pancakes that we ate quickly. The pancakes were puffy but not greasy. We loved the different stews we tried. We plan to return to try other items on the menu.
Great food, we had the beef fried rice, kalbi tang, hot wings, and budae jjigae. They were all excellent. Highly recommended!
It was so goodEspecially, budae jigae and cheese dolsotOmg…. So nice service nice taste
The food here is delicious. Giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because the bathrooms were extremely dirty.
Nice family style korean restaurant. Wish the kimchi has more flavor and the seafood pancake has less flour and the mix between flour and the meat/veggie are even.
