Japanese Curry

2022-07: ST(Japanese) & I (American Japanese) both had medium spicy katsu curry. The flavor was good, generous helping and definitely a repeat place to eat. The service was fast.

We gave this a try, and enjoyed out curry. The pork was excellent - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The portion sizes are very generous. Not a lot of seating area and it is popular, but worth the wait. There are signs for people to put away their trays, however too many inconsiderate people just left their tables a big mess which sucks when there are so few tables and people waiting. It's not the restaurant's fault that patrons are lazy.

Not great. Katsu are good, but the curry is too salty and there are no veggies chunks in the sauce like real Japanese curry. Portion size is generous but the price is still way out there. I see no reason to go here when you can buy better curry in powder form from the supermarket next door.

I ordered fried shrimp udon and champion udon because takoyaki is gone.Everything was delicious, but I was not satisfied with the price, and the chicken karaage was too salty to eat.I personally don't like sour curry. It was sour and not very strong curry. But donkatsu. Fried shrimp was grilled well and delicious.

Curry Life? More like Curry Death! My son got deathly sick from eating raw chicken in his Karaage! What a huge mistake. We should have ran away when we used and saw the "employee only" bathroom. Had to walk through the kitchen. The cook was on her phone leaning over the curry pot. The "employee bathroom" has no soap! The soap dispenser looks like it has never had soap in it, ever! My son said his first piece of chicken squirted in his mouth a cool foul liquid like he had never experienced. He cut into his next piece and sure enough it was raw! We showed it to the lady working the front, she went to tell the "cook" in the back, came back to us, never said sorry, tried to take the raw chicken to actually cook it and we said no we wanted fresh cooked chicken. She brought us the chicken. We could not eat anything after this experience. She did not offer to refund anything! Again, no sorry no nothing! $62.26 thrown in the toilet or thrown up in the toilet I should say. We love Japanese curry, have eaten it across Japan for years and make it at home often. This dirty, terribly run curry place is nothing like curry made in Japan where cleanliness and customer service is everything. I hope my son stops throwing up soon.

Tasty Japanese curry place next to Mitsuwa Market. I use the website to order ahead. I like the beef curry over rice with veggies, medium spicy. The thinly sliced beef comes with onions and adds just the right juiciness to the curry. White rice is on point, slightly sticky. The veggies have broccoli and baby carrots and very fresh and cooked perfectly.Very delicious, and when I’m in the mood for desert, there is ice cream at the Market next door.

Good curry. Sausages taste like Vienners, but sweeter. Mild is already spicy, so beware. We were so happy with the food, we ordered take out. This time, they forgot the extra shrimp we paid for. There's no way to talk to them short of driving back. So, check your orders before you leave.

Karaage! Bomb!! 5-6 giant and tender pieces. Good enough for 2 meals. Katsu dishes are often excellent, but sometimes tough, ergo…karaage! Get it with udon, rice, or…fries?! Woot! Curry sauce is always consistently excellent. Highly recommend.

Pretty good curry place, one that does an admirable job replacing the old Curry House in Cupertino. The portions are pretty big, which explains the rather high prices, but overall I'd say it's worth a try.

food quality isn't bad, but poor customer service level. Saw a couple of seniors having trouble to order on unattended square pad, and the guy working in the kitchen kept yelling at the seniors in distance and telling them to order through the device when those seniors were already having difficulty with that. Not understanding why this bad type of conduct is allowed. hoping the business owner is aware of the serious, ongoing matter.
