The customer service is really bad. They messed up on my order and when I called to complain, they informed me that the manager wasn't there. The food wasn't worth the headache either. I won't go back.
Not sure what has happened but their sauce is just plain watery now. Maybe it's a post covid issue. Service was great though. Just not going to be going back for the food, unfortunately ?.
The main reason I came here is to try the spicy baby octopus stew (#26 on the top 100 eats). Then I read some article that this is the best Italian restaurant in SF. I figure I had to try it especially since reservation wasn't that easy to get. I ended up with a 5:30pm slot on a Saturday night.This has to be one of the most unique experience I had with Italian food. The octopus didn't disappoint at all. I never had Italian food this spicy. I wish I could order baskets of bread just so I can dip into the stew, then lick every inch of that bowl.
We really enjoyed the two appetizers and if we come back again we will definitely order these two again. My only compliant would be that I expected the prawns would be deveined. It was a bit unpleasant to see the whole black vein when finishing peeling the shell.Overall our experience was positive.
Food was excellent! We ordered the MS. PIGGY'S COMBO 1 lb Crawfish, 1 lb Shrimp, 1lb Clams, 4 Corns & 4 Sausages. They provide you the dish in a heavy bag. You reach in and grab what you want. They also provide bibs and lots of napkins as it gets kind of messy. I brought my elderly parents and they were so nice to them. My dad wanted to pick out his own beer, and they even let him do that. They even gave me separate sauce on the side because I wanted spicy, and my parent have to have mild. I can't recommend them enough and will be returning even though not close by my home.
Ordered at 5:13 and it said that it would be ready at 5:40. Came on time for pick up and it was not ready. Waited for another hour and twenty minutes after they said it would be ready in 15 ministers. Went back again and they said another 20 minutes. It’s now 6:40 and I am still waiting for my order. Ridiculously poor service and communication. More than 3x the wait that they said and still no food.
So SO Amazing!!!! Boiled peel n eat shrimp!!! Fried catfish! Awesome service!!! Whenever I visit we come here ever time!!!
The smell was great. Food overal tastes great. Unfortunately the crawfish were FULL of roe. Cooked thoroughly but not expected or enjoyable.
Yummy sauce! My family and I absolutely love seafood. This place satisfies our cravings with the jumbo shrimp and crawfish. The sauce is amazing!!
Few days ago I went to eat with family the cashier was nice but did my whole order wrong and even repeated my order and got it wrong. She went to the kitchen and blamed it on me saying a different story but it was her fault also she thought i didn’t hear her.
