Always like their broken rice.Server is fast but most of them seem don’t understand my English. ?
Good for both pho and rice dish ?
Definitely top 3 pho restaurants I've been to. Broth is clear, you can distinctly notice all the different herbs that were cooked into it. Rare beef was tender, and the portion was good value for money. Rice dishes are from actual broken rice. So good. 100% recommend and must visit if you're in San Jose.
Nice ambience and comfortable booths. Rice cooked perfectly and meat is tender and not salty. Would definitely come back again ?

Food is good but staff is rude near end of day. It’s 7:40pm (20m to close time) and we were still eating but staff already moved all the tables around us for closing, dragging them on the floor. And yes by dragging I really mean they dragged all the metal tables & chairs on the concrete floor, creating very loud and uncomfortable noise right next to us. They even turned off our heater (we were sitting outside on a cold night). We liked the food but staff clearly didn’t care for their customers.
More on the expensive side (14-18) for com tam, but the meat was very flavorful, soup was decent, overall they give you a lot.
AMAZING!! I have no idea why they don’t have a higher rating. I had bbq shrimp and pork chop with my broken rice and it was so well seasoned and I could taste the wonderful smokiness from the charcoal. The broth for the pho is the best I’ve had. Such a wonderful flavor of beef and spices while still being light and clear. The staff here work very hard getting people seated and the food out to you as quickly as possible. If you’re here and there’s a long waitlist it’s well worth the wait and it probably won’t take as long as you expect.
My friends from San Diego, LA, and San Francisco are coming to San Jose for this Vietnamese dish because they said it not good where else. So I guess it is best Vietnamese broken rice dish in town. That's what they are known for.
Love their relatively new affordable price for Pho and Roasted Chicken Rice. They tasted great every single time that I had them.
