It's definitely a must visit place if you are in San Jose. I got a chance to try 4-5 of their items and every item lived up to the expectation. The baked items are not too sweet which I liked. They have a wide variety of items. They have pastries as well and so you have a good breakfast. It's usually crowded. So you may have to wait a few mins for a table. Giving 4 stars because some of the staff were a bit mean.

Great cake slice ! Although I can hardly call it a Napoleon! I ate French napoleon and this one taste nothing like it. Even Russian napoleon taste more like napoleon ? overall good cake slice and the cream wasn’t heavy which is good

Cocola feels like you're in France. Their pastries are good but the coffee not at all. I would rather this place 3.5 stars if I had an option.

Skip this place. Mediocre overpriced desserts - you can get those at low grade grocery store. Check the frozen section. Coffee beverages are gas station grade. Don’t even bother with the “lemon infused water” that stands at the entrance to the place. It was just AWFUL. Explains why everyone were pouring it out into flower pots. I feel bad for the flowers. It’s not the drought that’s killing them. If you value your time and your palate - skip this place.

Friendly staff.. a very clean restaurant.. food is really good..

The atmosphere the delicious pastries not so good on the coffee

I love this bakery. First off, the location in the middle of Santana Row with Al fresco seating is awesome. It usually is busy, but the small wait is pretty much worth it.The coffee os strong and is made just right. We had a latte and a double cappuccino, which were served quickly and had the right amount of kick for an afternoon break. They have a wide selection of pastries. I have tried their tiramisu and croissants, and those a pretty good. On this particular trip, we had a Napoleon and decided to give the Banana Crunchy a try. Wow! It was so yummy. I highly recommend it.Enjoy a coffee, indulge in a pastry, and do some people watching. This is a fun place to spend an afternoon.

I went on a evening just to try something. I had the triple mousse cake and loved it..! The consistency was perfect and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect balance of flavors. The place has a nice vibe, very Parisian!

I love Cocola. Have been coming here for years for the pastries. The lattes are okay, but not my first choice, but the pastries and bakery items are what bring me back time and time again.Ultimate favorite: Crème Feuillete (not photographed)

Amazing pastries, Bamboo and tiramisu is great. Surprisingly good coffee. Must visit for croissant.
