The chicken and waffles are AMAZING!!! The pazole is very, very good!
Fantastic spot for dinner and drinks on Santana Row. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and there was no wait. The apps are great and so are the entrees! Fantastic birria in a couple forms as well which I love.
Our first time having brunch at this place, I’ll be honest was a little disappointed. We ordered French toast to get three slices of sweet bread dipped in syrup. I then ordered enchiladas was told it wasn’t spicy for a 7 y.o. and was to spicy for child to eat it. In addition our order was not send/lost, so waitress had to re order our order. In other places they usually offer a complimentary dish for having us wait double the time, but not here. First and last time we coming to this place. Their chips and guacamole where good…
I like the guacamole and green salsa here a lot. The shrimp was quite spicy but tasted good. Chicken sandwich was also not bad but nothing crazy. Fries were good. Sister liked the pork belly tacos but not her rice bowl. Next time I'd probably just get the guac and salsa again and maybe try something new like the rotisserie chicken. The dessert was okay, we got the coconut flan.
Excellent service! Delicious chicken tacos and the Chikatini drink was strong and yummy. Will definitely be back to try the other food. Nice decor…wished the lighting was a bit dimmer. :-)
1st timer...the place is really cute, servers & bartenders are nice. Great spot for game watching, casual date or before clubbing. We ordered the Chika plate, fries, wings(they were just ok & cold) & chilpachole. Will probably order the nachos next time I go. Check it out
This was the first time we tried Chika and let me tell you, the food is really good. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because the service is a bit slow. It took 10 minutes for the waitress to come and get our order, we got our food quick except our tenders, which is what my daughter was going to have. I had to ask the waitress to make sure the order was placed. When we were ready to leave, we had to keep asking for the check. The staff is super friendly and helpful but I think they are a bit short staff. Other than that, good place to eat.***Btw, there’s a small business surcharge that it’s not on the online menu so seeing it in my receipt was a bit shocking.
This place is a black away from my work and i go here all the time for salads, and french fries ( they have the best fries in the world). The cooks, host, and everyone else who works there are just soo polite and nice. They always give you suggestions on what to order if you are unsure. It takes a bit long to get your meal, but that's because they make it all from scratch so it takes longer but trust me its WORTH IT!!!
Available seating. Attentive & friendly service. Good atmosphere and location. A tad pricey but my wings and tacos were delicious. Great music.
