This place really stands out. Starting with the dining area with it being a great, calm setting. The staff were friendly and the food was just outstanding. Large portions, and at a great price.
If we want Chinese food, then we want Chef Li. The ambiance in the restaurant is beautiful with all the orchids. We also order take out and it’s ready for pickup in a very timely manner. Their luncheon specials are an excellent deal. Each dish is made to perfection.
Chef Li is Amazing ? I love Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Chef Li is the ONLY restaurant I will order it from. Their Shrimp Egg Foo Young is the BEST. You DON’T get mini tiny shrimp ? You get full size shrimp in ALL their shrimp dishes. I always recommend Chef Li Restaurant to family and friends!!! Thank You Chef Li for the Best tasting Chinese Food Ever!!
Meh. Not impressed. They use canned pineapples (gross). Also, I ordered cheese won tons and got these weird fried crunchy things (with no cheese). For what it's worth, the orchids are beautiful. Still, there are better options in the area.
Very nice neighborhood Chinese. We have tried several of the standard dishes. All very good. I personally didn’t like the lemon chicken all that much, but that was the only disappointment so far. We always come here when we crave Chinese. Glad to have Chef Li close by.
Chef Li’s is officially my fave Chinese restaurant. Beautiful dining area. Service is friendly and inviting. I Love Wanton Soup and they did not disappoint. The Fresh Pineapple Basil Fried Rice w/Prawns & Chickens was soooo good! My friend let me taste her Shrimp Egg Foo Yung and it just melted like …. oh my goodness! I look forward to trying many more dishes. I had my dish boxed to go because it was a lot to eat in one setting. Warmed it up later for dinner and it was just as good as the first time/bite. Thank you!
Extremely beautiful food and decor. Rarely do you see a small business do things as well as Chef Li's. The food has always been been prepared wonderfully and presented with such style and artistic flair.
I have been coming to Chef Li since 1998. My coworkers near Good Sam Hospital took me here and I’ve been coming at least once if not more a week. The food is CONSISTENTLY fabulous, tasty and cooked perfectly. The recent remodel made Chef Li look so elegant and modern. Eric takes pride in his craft and even stops by to check on his patrons when he can. I was worried with the pandemic if they would close, but I made sure I ordered takeout during this worrisome time to help keep them open. The servers even recognize me whenever I come. The main dishes to try: Chef Li beef, sesame chicken, hing Kong style noodles, salt and pepper calamari or shrimp. My family loves their hot and sour soup. The sizzling rice soup and crab and corn are so tasty- not over salty- just delicious. Sometimes I get the wor won ton soup and ask for extra noodles. The small serving will feed up to 4 people! What I really love is the generous portion size, variety of options, they even have vegan options if you want. The prices have been consistently fair and barely have changed since 1998, but I would pay more if Eric ever raised prices to be market fair. The feeling that the food is cooked with love and care is the ultimate for me and my family. I have since moved out of state, but return to see. Y family in the area and the ONE spot we make sure to visit is Chef Li! They are like family to us.

This restaurant is not to be missed. It has been redecorated with beautiful decor and gorgeous orchid arrangements. The food is delicious and MSG free. I started going here a few years ago because of MSG free food. You won't be disappointed. Ann Aine
