Disappointed, overpriced, overrated. If you come for beef pho, then I suggest you to turn away.I was tricked by the high 4.7 rating. The portion size was very small (just look at the tiny amount of bean sprouts). As a petite woman, my stomach still felt kind of empty after finishing the whole bowl including all the soup. The beef was dry and overcooked (probably pre-cooked?) and there were only a few tiny pieces of them in the bowl. The broth was okay, nothing special to mention about. Vermicelli probably was the best thing because it's not mushy. The price of the beef pho was 18, so I eventually spent over 20 dollars which I could have went to another more affordable and better pho place nearby and got an extra side dish.I am always happy having pho because it's one of the best noodle dishes in my mind, but not this one. This one was a total disappointment.
Amazing experience!Pad Thai was delicious and really good generous amount for one person. My son thoroughly enjoyed his Pad Thai.Spicy Beef Pho Soup with Vermicelli was huge bowl of soup with flavorful broth but the vermicelli in the soup tasted bland. Otherwise good service & good food!
The absolute best Viet halal restaurant in the Bay Area. The shaking beef is so delicious and mouthwateringly tender. Solid pad Thai, and lamb curry is soooo savory, the Paratha has flaky layers so yummy and honestly drink selection is good for large portions for the price. The family that runs this place is so warm and friendly feels like home when I visit here. One small qualm would be that portions are on the smaller size for the price but still absolutely worth it.
I ordered Champa fish. Fish is absolutely delicious. I asked for spicy version and definitely it met my expectations. I felt quantity was much lesser for the price offered. This is the reason that it missed 1 star. Quality of food was excellent.
Ordered the beef pho and fried chicken appetizer. Loved both, it’s great to see halal options. The owner was super nice and very attentive. Cute and clean restaurant with good halal food.
Good service and tasty food! Got the chicken vermicelli and beef pho, fish sauce and beef broth was delicious! A little far from Portland, but I hope to come again!
The Beef Sandwich was the best. Beef Pho was nice too. The prices where too high, But the taste was good. The owner was friendly. The server was also very good. It was very small restaurant but worth trying a Vietnamese halal food. I was waiting for this for a very long time. As most of my colleagues were from Vietnam, they usually make pho at home or eat pho at restaurants. At last I tried it, it was a good experience.
Great service. The owner is a very nice man! I never had the chance to eat Vietnamese food because very rarely is it halal. The banh mi and the pad Thai were delicious.
Best Vietnamese food I ever did have!!The Beef Banh Mi Sandwich was a 100/10 and the pho with beef was also amazing!!!
This should be on everyone's must try list if they are visiting the bay area(ITS WORTH THE DRIVE). And its HFSAA certified. Make sure to check out our Youtube Channel(Halal Digest) for full review of their Spicy Beef Pho, Banh Mi, and spring rolls! Service was excellent as well!!
