The reason I go there is to eat the best deep fried taro, red bean and mung bean balls. Perfectly crispy on the outside and oh so delicious
I have tried all snacks behind the glass. All is yummy. You just simply ask "Does it bake/ make by the store?" It can't go wrong if you get "YES" answer. I live in Oakland, It's always the stop I must when I'm in the plaza.
I love this place!!! Because not only it has fresh pressed sugar cane juice (with kumquat on requests), but it also has a large variety of vietnamese/Chinese bake goods that made in house. I love the Vietnamese sesame donut (picture). It is chewy, delicious, a snack that I grew up eating in VN. They also have packed lunch like steamed rolls, spring rolls, rice cake with pork etc.. it's a must visit. I can't get enough of the sugar cane juice, if you haven't tried, please do!!
Come here every other week to buy sugar cane juice. They used to sell half a gallon bottle for $15, price just went up to $18, a 20% increase. A bit steep but still very popular given the crowd waiting to buy ina hot summer day. Store is nice, staff is friendly, they also have a variety of Vietnamese snacks, great shop.
Everything here is delicious, I always come back this shop.

Nice little bakery and deli. Fresh sugar cane juice, pandan waffles and different buns, including bbq pork. I liked the taro better than the mung bean sweets.
Delicious food and drinks for a good price. Recommend the small sesame balls, hands down best in the Bay. I always grab 100 for family parties, always a crowd pleaser!
