So good that I ended up going 2 days in a row. Their ice cream is the perfect texture probably because it’s nitro infused. You walk into the store and you can see the nitrogen clouds coming out of the ice cream tubs.-1 star because their milkshake was $10 and honestly could get better ones at other places for cheaper.
JUST WOW!!!Cauldron reminds of "dinner and a show" You get entertainment watching the process of pouring the fresh, homeade liquid ingredients into each bowl, then watch interactvely as they pump the bowl with liquid nitrogen, then finish with a pattern on top of your ice cream and toppings.Never seen or heard of this place. Walked in after having a sandwich next door and yikes, totally blown away. Novel concept, good buz, positive vibes, good customer service and FANTASTIC MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ice cream....JUST WOW. I was very surprised how rich, decadent and creamy their Mint Choco Chip was, didn't see that coming. The puff with cinnamon and sugar combined with amazing ice cream and watching it all come together was fun and extremely memorable, definately coming back for more.Nearly forgot, ordered 1 scoop, they made so much I got 3 scoops out of it, impressive.Drop whatever you are doing and go there now, marvel in the novelty and unique approach, savor the substance of a rich, fresh, homeade in front of you taste treat you cannot find anywhere else...highly reccomend!
Ice cream is just okay, I had the double chocolate cup. Taste was like any other chocolate ice cream you can get from any grocery store. They just make a rose shape on it if that’s something.
This is one of my favorite icecream places in San Jose. The flavors are innovative, the interior is pretty and the presentation is amazing. I’ve tried the sun, moon and stars, salted caramel, spiced butter beer and lavender. I hope they bring back their seasonal spiced butter beer flavor as it’s the best butterscotch icecream I’ve ever had in the Bay Area!
Ice cream tastes well here. Place your order on the machine and the staff would start to prepare your order immediately. Ice cream is made upon order, from ice cream liquid, using liquid nitrogen, so it tastes a little differently from typical ice cream. Tried earl grey lavender, which is not only tastes nice but also looks nice. The waffle is served hot but too oily. I would come back for ice cream again.
Decent place with a good concept and presentation. The flavors are not that unique but they do deliver on the taste. I loved the s'mores with Marshallow Puff. The mint chocolate was decent. Slightly on the expensive side. Recommend the owner to allow mix and match flavors for multiple scoops!!
Probably one of the coolest ice cream spots around, Cauldron uses liquid nitrogen to make the ice cream flavors, and the works make flower designs into the ice cream by hand. They had an expansive menu with menu options ranging from flavors, shapes, and toppings.
It reminds me of The Subzero Ice Cream Shop in Southern California. Except the employees are friendlier at Sub Zero. The experience here is cool and the ice cream is delicious. The employees can be happier.
Love this ice cream place. The flavors are great and it's asethetically pleasing. I like the new holders for the puffles. It's basically a cup now so perfect for to-go orders ?Blue 2019 - Sun, Moon, and Stars ice cream w star sprinklesYellow 2022 - Seasonal Banana Milk ice cream w rose sprinkles and a strawberry puffle
Best surprise! Amazing icecream, fast and friendly service, and seeing everything prepared in sight shows dedication and skill of employees. Salted caramel puffles is the best, with strawberry a close 2nd.
