Just like their sister bar, the Haberdasher, their drinks are top notch! But don't go there expecting the same ambiance since Cash Only is a low key "honky-tonk" with pool, country music and beer on tap. I will make a special trip just to enjoy the Frozen Irish Coffee (which is the "fussiest" drink on the menu) and I always recommend trying the Whiskey Apple!
Went to this bar with some friends because we heard there was a pool table. When I went to order a drink (long island iced tea) the bartender was incredibly rude and angry that I had even asked him to make such a drink.One star for poor customer service- my group was unaware of the special "cash only" menu as it was our first time, the bar was heavily crowded, and the whole place was dark. It seemed the bartender was more interested in yelling at customers than taking the time to kindly explain their limited drink menu.

Way better approximation of a real dive bar than Dive Bar ever was. The jukebox full of Johnny Cash is a nice touch. It's still San Jose expensive though.
It felt like the dive bar with country music. It was ok. It's worth a shot. Dim lighting, drinks, and music. It's free to check it out...why not?
Very chill bar in the heart of k-town, it's right down the street from Bud Namu KBBQ. I stopped by with a friend early on a Saturday night and we had a good time. Music was great, bartenders were awesome, and the drinks were great too! They have a nice selection of beers on draft. We even got some shots from the bartender. It was a pretty fun night.

A hidden gem in downtown SJ, really cool place, the ambiance and atmosphere is very good and unique, good drinks, team friendly, come check it out!
Cash is King, chill spot with a time travel vibe. Recommended.
