Haven't been here in over 10 years and this place remains the same in terms of quality, fresh, and the good. They still make a fantastic crispy yet soft bread which keeps on bringing fans back. I got the Spicy Turkey and it's great. The Turky salami is also another great sandwich. I highly recommend stopping by and trying this place out, if you are in town. It is cash only, but it won't break your wallet.
They were very busy (lunch hour). Maddie at the register was superhuman handling orders. I got tired just watching her work and she never skipped a beat. Great sandwiches, exceptional staff!
Sandwich will never be as good as this place. The bread is crunchy and the bread is not a bursting sour, it's a sour that's very enjoyable. They have the 3 key elements to a perfect restaurant. Fast, Cheap and Delicious. I always get the pastrami sandwich here and it just blows my mind how quick they can make it, and how they can also make it flavorsome is what makes this place amazing. Definitely recommend this place
Great fresh hot bread, right out of the oven. Just the right amount of compliments for great teast. They close at 2pm. Dont be late. Also great customer sevice

Yes, cash only, and only open 3 hours per week day. Atm on the premises and they do take phone orders if you arein a hurry. Sandwiches are big and can feed 2 easily.

I think the sandwiches at California Sourdough are the best in the entire Bay Area. The bread is piping hot, the meat is fresh, and it's generally delicious! I bring my family and friends whenever they visit. It's an old school, family-owned business. Simply the best!
