This was my first time coming to a crab broil place. My husband had suggested this place before but the location and the outside of the restaurant made me feel iffy on eating seafood here. Let me tell you don't ever judge a book by its cover I open the door and I was amazed by the decor it was like a ship thing there was a huge bar there was so much seating that the tables were not close to each other. It didn't smell like a seafood joint and you were greeted by great staff. I could tell that the restaurant is cleaned to a high standard especially the restrooms. The wall decor was so neat so sailor ship vibe. The open space was amazing they had TVs on the wall. Along with tanks you could see how they keep the lobsters and crabs alive. The waiter was very amazing and patient very willing to help us out because it's our first time there. DID I MENTION MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY IS $2 BEERS! I just really love the freshness of the food and also I got to eat soft shell crab for the first time and their Cajun Rice is amazing!!!
The food is always good when we come here and the food was good again. Service was great also
I like this place very much. The price is pretty good. I hope you have a chance to go. You will enjoy a delicious taste.
The food and drinks are way overpriced for what you get. The service was pretty bad….had to ask for my bill 4 times and had to ask for refills numerous times before I received them. They were not even busy so I don’t know why it was like that. For an appetizer I ordered oysters and they were filled with shells. The person shucking them clearly didn’t know how to shuck an oyster properly. Not only that but, when I asked for horse radish they said they didn’t have any….a seafood restaurant that does not have horse radish, really? They were out of half the food I wanted to order. I ordered crab, shrimp and clams. The crab was soggy like a wet sponge and the shrimp was so over cooked the shell was plastered to the meat (p.s. fresh shrimp should never be as chewy as beef jerky). I took home the leftovers because they were very expensive and I had hopes that soaking the leftovers in the sauce overnight would help. The next day I went to eat my leftovers and the very expensive crab was FISHY, repulsive fishy. Crab should never be fishy lass than 24 hours after ordering it. It was clear that they had defrosted the crab (and probably the rest of their seafood) days in advance or didn’t thaw it correctly, that would explain the spongy texture and the fishy taste. Very disappointed seeing I spent about $250 there.
Good place! Food is great! The staff are very friendly! If you like seafood, you need to go here!
This place was amazing. I've been wanting to try it for the longest time. Food was fresh and very delicious. Service was great and food portions are huge. Would definitely recommend it.
Celebrate my birthday at cajun crackin , they have big party room with good deal , we have fantastic time, definitely recommended
A lot of space to eat and space in between other customers. Great fishing boat decor. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was bomb.com and will definitely come back!
Worth the wait, because this place is busy for a reason. Super quick service, everything is fresh, seasoned beautifully. I'm sad I live 2k miles away, this was crave-worthy.. ?
Mannnnnnnnnnnnnn everytime I make a trip down to SJ, something always has to be closed. ? It happens so much, it’s not even funny anymore.Let me tell you how excited I was to try Claw Shack. Drove all the way there to find out that they’re closed for the week. Boi was I disappointed. We opted for another seafood boil place, Cajun Crack’n, which was about 15 mins away. We ordered 2lb sprimp mussel combo / house special sauce / spice lvl medium(?) & a half order of oysters. Psttt this was my first time having seafood boil.. don’t roast me on this. I have to say… it’s quite good… IF ONLY MY SPICE TOLERANCE WAS BETTER or if IT WERENT SO SPICY. The oysters were good tho!
