I mean my dad told me before I went that I'd get what I pay for. And honestly he was right. I give this place 4 stars because it was as I expected. You get 5 plain burgers with mayo and relish for $9. (Mcdouble sized) You really can't beat that price when eating out. That being said I wouldn't go out of my way to save a buck. Well worth it and the fries were so delicious. Even tried the steak sandwhich and that was great. But I'd really only go there if I was in the area. Great experience overall and I recommend if your in the area.
Are you looking for the best burger deal in San Jose? Then the Burger Bar is a must! It's not much to look at and I suggest you visit during daylight hours, but the food a great and the price is better. The burgers are no frills but tasty and favorable. They have a large menu so the entire family can find something to eat. For the ballers on a budget, get tye bag of burgers or tacos for less than $10 great deal! I highly recommend Burger Bar
On January 9th both my family size fries with my order were overly salty couldn't even eat them ,I called them to let them know and after going back and forth over the phone the person,who took the order agreed to make it right with giving my fries on my next visit.. I stopped on my way out the following week, I'm from Modesto got my fries and order myself a steak burger and headed back out,and guess what the steak sandwiche bread was BURNT!!!! SO HOW'S THAT FOR customer service..if I wasn't on the freeway I would have gone back
One of the best places to get food around the south bay. I always get a steak sandwich and I'm never dissatisfied. The fry portions are crazy big and worth the price. Parking can get a bit bad sometimes, but other than that this is one of the better places in San Jose.

Very tasty, with a taste that reminds me of childhood baseball games. However, the food isn't just a grease bomb, it's a grease power bomb off the top rope.
Last night, I got off a long flight coming from Atlanta and I tried to order from Buffalo Wild Wings and was screamed at about "beans" for some odd reason and came here to eat instead. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and I was extremely pleased by it. This is my first time coming to San Jose and I'll definitely be eating here again! Thank you guys so much.
Straight ol skool burger spot, I remember this place since I was a kid. Not to bad for a bit to eat. The guy was kinda rude at the counter. But definitely cool to visit this place
I stop by the spot regardless if I’m hungry or not I love there homestyle big bacon cheeseburger definitely a must try. I’ve recently started opting out of the combo meal and getting a side of chili and cheese fries with the burger. Area is not the best but they keep it well maintained and the outside seating area is kept clean.Not to mention that the filled and original churros are to die for ?.
