Waiter was awkward on so many levels.“Is that your car, you better leave a nice tip”Didn’t bring us the waters we requested.Said we couldn’t order iced coffee without alcohol.Didn’t bring us the soup that is supposed to be included with sandwiches/salads.I’ve been here regularly but will try to avoid it in the future.BLT sandwich was served without the mayo they mention it includes on the menu. Soup tasted sour and I’m afraid this may be a low volume item that went bad from being shelved too long.

3.5 stars - Bit pricey for the quality of food which was just OK. Good portion size and good service. Not very busy for a Friday brunch (11AM) but the patio was full and the interior 2-person seating felt a little cramped. We ordered the California Benedict with country potatoes (no bacon, server was kind enough to offer us a substitution and suggested spinach, asparagus, etc. but we went with extra avocado), the Petaluma Scramble with hashbrowns, and an order of the Belgian waffle.Belgian waffle - 5 stars! Was reminded of the clear superiority of waffles over pancakes and french toast. Recommend.California Benedict - 3.5 stars. Needed salt. Hollandaise sauce was watery and a bit tasteless. The English muffin it comes on was delicious and the country potatoes were a surprise hit! Enjoyed that they were grilled with peppers, definitely added a little something. Sadly they were the only item that was adequately salted.Petaluma Scramble - 3 stars. Hashbrowns were the right kind of crispy but again... under-salted. Scramble had a good amount of veggies but interestingly the Swiss cheese was just layered on top, and had cooled down into a hard sheet I had to cut through to get at the eggs. The salsa that comes with it tasted like nothing so I had to douse the whole thing with a considerable amount of Tobasco.Coffee - 4 stars. Standard drip coffee fare. They were generous with the refills.Service - 5 stars. We were acknowledged and seated right away and our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered a second Belgian waffle togo and it came out quick along with the check.

Big portions of delicious food served by friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Favorite dishes are the traditional Belgian waffles, Bread Pudding French Toast, the pancakes because they are so fluffy, and any of the benedicts.

Great place. Comfy and great service. Good food, not too expensive.

Had brunch with my nieces. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, good food. It takes me sooo long to decide, everything looks so good. I had my service dog with me and was treated with respect. My waitress even brought him some chilled water because it was hot out.

(Sunday brunch)Ordered 3 breakfast items( California omelette , Tex-mex Benedict, and Breakfast Quesadilla)+plus one fresh squeezed orange juice, All the food that was served was very good, however The staff attending us was not at this location, we had to ASK! For the server and that felt uncomfortable. This Bills cafe opens @7am so be prepared to visit here early to get the better attention and service.

I love this location! It's not the original like Cottle area but a very close to it! Had no idea this place was here. After Cottle, this my 2nd option for Bill's. Willow Glen & east side are my least favorite. The atmosphere & staff makes this a close #1!!!Try their benedicts & you can't go wrong w/ a steak or chicken fried steak.Chavelas ? ?& if you got an appetite, go for dessert!Crab cakes were still amazing (with Holidays sauce on the side) Can't go wrong with mimosas. Customer service is always great! Love the bar

One lady was very friendly and didn't leave a smile from her face. Other guy made me and my family smile.Food was very good those are Very berry Waffle, Morning quesadilla, coffee and Pineapple peach mimosa.

I visited Santa Clara last week and my brother recommended this place for an American brunch. I chose to go with the steak with half boiled eggs. Hmmmm they were very ? .Also the portion was really made me full. They also provide coffee for free. Highly recommend this place to try out the classic American breakfast or lunch

This business has serious customer prioritization issues. They give priority to online orders and make their in-store customers sit and wait. This is easily verifiable because you'll see four or five food runners come and go per each one in-store customer served. After I sat down at the bar it took the staff 20 minutes to acknowledge that I was there then after I placed my order I sat there for an hour and a half and nobody said anything to me. After waiting for an hour and a half because my phone battery was getting low and I needed to leave to charge it I asked what was going on with my order. The waiter behind the bar who had previously acknowledged that I had placed an order said that he had never heard me give him an order.
