Been to a lot of different bills cafes they're all little different because each cook does it their own way my potatoes were pretty raw not season and burned very unhappy eggs are extremely bland besides that maybe they just have an off day but usually it's really good my drink is a michelada with no salt and bacon on the side definitely give this place a try thank you for taking the time to read my short review ?
San Jose seems to be a sandwich and taco town. Bill's has an extensive menu, mainly of breaskfasty items. Not finding an interesting veggie sandwich I chose tuna. There was plenty of tuna, but not much flavor. We did take-out and arrived just before closing. It was mother's day, it was busy, and they were very accomodating.
Went around 2 pm on a Saturday and quickly got a table. Ordered a mexicana omelette and freshly squeezed orange juice. The omelette was delicious. My friend ordered a egg benedict and she said it tasted great.Dropping a star because the waiter kept on pestering for an order despite asking to give us sometime. Moreover, she started cleaning the ketchup and other stuff on our table while we were eating.The other staff was friendly and helpful though. Definitely recommend trying it out once.
Being there at lunchtime and having had breakfast hours earlier, I ordered a California Club sandwich. It wasn't bad, but not particularly good either. The bread could have been toastier. Really good fries though! I saw several breakfast dishes being served and they all looked delicious.
We were headed to the Winchester Mystery House and had time for breakfast. I searched Trip Advisor and this local gem popped up. First let me say I have been in the restaurant business 30 yrs and this is what makes a great visit for me. We were greeted with a SMILE, got pointed to a table (normally would not like that but) had menu and a great strong cup of coffee seconds after our butts hit the booth, just enough time with the menu and order was taken, breakfast came litteraly 5 minutes later, my food was HOT and delicious (I had the California omelet and my son the waffle meal) we were checked in on shortly therafter, and check after that! A huge bonus for me was the goodies mixed into the eggs for the omelet. I will say, we were there at 9:00a.m on a Sunday and only a few tables were seated. When we left just before 10 all the tables were full inside and outside with people waiting. Give it a try!!

A friend took me here for lunch. The coffee was good and the Patty Melt and fries were more than I could handle so I got a doggie bag and brought it home for my GF. It was just far enough of my usual path that I night never have found it if not for my friend. It wasn't crowded and the staff was polite and attentive.
I like Bills for the consistently good food, service and price. The Cafe environment is nothing flashy, but servers are always on point and the food is never less than above average. Healthy portions, fresh, and the flavor is great. As a cafe goes for a quick meal, you will do well to stop by and eat at Bill's. Great place.
One of smaller Bill's cafe, but still warm and comfortable. Food is the same as other Bill, delicious.
