It’s been 3 years since my last, unpleasant visit to Bibo’s. Folks tell me the place is great now. So, I deleted my original, honest and unfavorable review. We came back for a gluten free crust pizza. We heard Bibo’s has a good one.it costs extra. We did like the crust. The rest of the pizza was ok. Maybe it is the style to put the toppings in the middle and not spread around. Not my thing. I like them spread around. It’s weird though. When I look at pictures folks post, they look great. Topping everywhere. Maybe we just got unlucky on both visits.I still don’t understand the shredded sausage. I didn’t get much from it. Overall, the pizza was OK. Crust was great. Sauce needed some spice.Staff was much better this time though lots of distractions with new payment terminals. They greeted us, quickly took our order, got our beer and wine right away. I didn’t like that I could not review our order just to be sure it is right and verify we were charged correctly.Beer selection is still good and a great place to grab one. I’d skip the pizza unless you just want something to eat and don’t really care.

Bibo’s is a community treasure! Not only is their NY-style pizza great, but the owner and staff really came through in supporting our local elementary school event. The kids were so excited that the pizza came from Bibo’s and the owner even remembered (and accommodated) our student with a dairy allergy. They really care AND offer a great beer selection. ? Give them a try!

I had high expectations for this place based on great reviews. The quality of food wasn’t great. I could tell they used wrong (cheap) dough for the pizza. Not authentic at all. Honestly I don’t know the owner but obviously not an pizza expert:/ it’s probably just good enough for that neighborhood. Tbh, it wasn’t the worst pizza ever but not the good one either. Very average. Not worth trying it, if you are looking for the best pizza in town. Would not recommend. Also the service was horrible.

Bibo's is hands down my favorite NY style pizza restaurant in San Jose! In my opinion they're much better than the other super popular store here.I've been to NYC and I guess what they said about the NYC tap water is true because yes, the pizza there is tastier. BUT Bibo's comes really close!Food & Drink: You can purchase slices, or whole pies at around a large and extra large size. I don't know why but the extra large size comes out tastier. They have premade options and you can also customize your own toppings if you prefer. Their toppings are very fresh. The cheese and sauce are great. Crust is perfectly crisp!I also love their cheese breads - both ranch and pesto are delicious. There are a lot of interesting beer options here as well. Local options, popular beers, and beers on tap are available. I love trying something new every time I'm here.Interior: There's a bar, tvs with sports playing, a few tables, and some old school arcade games including pinball. Lots of people come here on game days.Exterior: There's a cute outdoor patio with a pretty good number of seating. The patio is lit up and is a really nice spot to eat at when the weather is nice.Service: Everyone is very nice and friendly! I usually do not wait over 15 minutes, but on a very crowded day you can expect a slightly longer wait.

My 100% to go place for amazing slices! Solid choice of NY pizzas with really good combinations of components, huge sizes and warm homey ambiance of this place make me come back over and over again. Special pleasure is to watch how their cooks work on dough and all the crew works as a one organism. Also the place is cool to watch any games! Screens, flavorful pizza and beer there’s no football fan that can ignore it(:

Great, quick service with a well made NY style thin crust. Slices are cut to huge, foldable proportions. Outdoor seating is well spread out and comfortable. Lots of interesting beers on tap

The pizza was made half an hour before our pickup time which was chosen by the restaurant. We were given the choice of taking home cold pizza, or waiting an extra 20 minutes for hour old reheated pizza. The manager saw nothing wrong with this so we ended up with cold pizza for $40. We had to reheat it at home and also cut it because it was somehow cut into only five slices, one of which was a quarter of the pizza. 1 star.

So me and my dude went to grab a quick slice of pizza. I ordered a Caesar salad for myself. His slice was large and hot and fresh. He says it was delicious. My salad had soggy croutons in it however the parm was thick and perfect to break up in the salad. The balsamic dressing was amazing though. Nice place!

Thank you Bibos!!We are east coast (some NY) transplants that have been looking for a good NY style pie in the south bayAfter trying a couple competitors and feeling like we were out of luck, you came through.Nice thin crust, the right type of cheese (fat content was perfect), a bit of tang to your sauce. Solid pie.Not the best slice of all time, but the best we have gotten in the bay area. Thank you again!

The pepperoni pizza was pretty greasy but the bbq chicken was really good. I also like the thin crust and huge slices.
